Ye Mo wasn't even shocked, a few formation flags suddenly appeared in his hands and he threw them out.     

Shi Taa saw this and sneered. "No wonder you were being so sneaky here before, you were setting up a formation. You're quite capable to hide it from me, but even if you set up…."     

As Ye Mo threw out the last formation flag, Shi Taa was dazed. There was extreme shock in his face. He didn't even believe what he saw. How could this mere truth realisation state level two cultivator hide a level nine formation that even he didn't see?     

Shi Taa realized that not only did he not recognize this formation, he didn't even know when it was activated.     

"You're a level nine formation grandmaster too…." Shi Taa stared at Ye Mo in shock.     

He was certain that Ye Mo was not only a level nine formation grandmaster, but one that was better than him.

Those disorganized corpse puppets became orderly and formed a strange formation. Some corpse puppets released their magic artifacts and charged at Ye Mo.     

Ye Mo's face changed. With this many truth realisation state cultivators charging at him, he would be killed for sure. He activated the formation without hesitation.     

The instant he did, Ye Mo was ready to self destruct his formation at any time. Ye Mo really couldn't think of another way to stop all these truth realisation state corpse puppets other than detonating his formation.     

Countless Illusion Cloud sword rays and sword chi filled the space. The most powerful thing about this formation was that there were countless sword rays and sword chi that was hidden from both the eyes and the spirit sense.     

If one was hit by one sword ray, their momentum would be stopped and this momentary stop was enough for countless sword rays to swoop over. How could one dodge something they couldn't see with their spirit sense nor eyes?     

Ye Mo was learned of this attack from Ji Zhiyuan's invisible sword chi.     

This was also because Ye Mo cultivated the Three Birth Chant, anything he saw he could make into his own if he wanted to.     

Shi Taa mobilized 100 corpse puppets to protect him without hesitation. They all released defense magic artifacts, making the place he was at impenetrable.     

But Ye Mo was shook to find that of those few hundred puppets, they didn't all use magic artifacts. Most of them just charged at him in a dazed state.

If he didn't have formation or other means, he really wouldn't be able to escape if he was trapped by these puppets. But he was in his formation and Shi Taa used most of his spirit sense to control 100 puppets to protect himself. The rest weren't a threat to him.     

No wonder Shi Taa didn't use these puppets to attack Suo Anshan. If he did, then he would be heavily injured in both spirit sense and cultivation essence even if he killed Suo Anshan. Spirit sense injuries were much harder to treat than meridian or bodily injuries.     

Shi Taa was exerting quite some spirit sense controlling these puppets. If he lost control, these puppets might come back to bite him instead.     

But soon, Ye Mo found that although these puppets didn't even use one percent of their power, they weren't afraid of his sword ray. Whenever the sword ray struck them, it would only make a metal striking sound.     

Ye Mo also found that if he was trapped by these puppets, then their aggressive instincts would be activated and they would kill him even without Shi Taa's command.     

Regardless, Ye Mo knew he must not be trapped by them.     

They were fast but this formation was Ye Mo's, so instantly, Ye Mo left their surrounding. He raised his hands and tens of lightning swords shot out, causing loud rumbling.

Ye Mo threw tens of lightning swords at Shi Taa, but before they reached him, they were blocked by the nearly 100 puppets raising shields.

Ye Mo was unhappy but he didn't know that Shi Taa was so shocked he was speechless. Ye Mo's performance before was magnificent, but now, releasing such terrifying lightning swords, this completely dumbfounded him.     

If he wasn't scared of Ye Mo detonating the formation like he did and protected himself with 100 puppets, he would've been injured by the lightning swords already.     

At this moment, Shi Taa truly began to fear. He had used all his means. If this maniacal truth realisation state level two cultivator still had other means, he might really not be able to survive today.     

Even if Ye Mo didn't have many means left, he wouldn't be able to last very long. It was exerting his cultivation essence and spirit sense trying to control these puppets.     

Ye Mo was planning to get Shadowless to help when there was a stalemate, but now that Shadowless saw Ye Mo had the complete upper hand, he charged out at a puppet instead.
