Reborn as a Mom

In this world, she would not be so stupid anymore. She would never let James use her to act the image of a so-called Uncle again.

"Congrats, Sis, for your baby." An irritating male voice came from behind James. "But shouldn't you concentrate on your own family? Now?" 

It was Ryan Louis, the only son of James, and her competitor.

'This is bad news. He should not have known about my pregnancy,' Ira thought.She told her dad about her pregnancy in excitement, but she forgot that her dad was not the one who could hide his emotions. So he must have shared the news with James.

Her father was diagnosed with Angina last year. In her past life, they didn't realize how the shareholders came to know about it. She was now sure that it was James who spread the news.

Due to his condition, he proposed retirement from the post of CEO before anything serious happened and negatively impact the company. He decided to work from behind closed door. This marked the beginning of the competition for the position of CEO between Ira and Ryan since a year ago.

Her brother, who was in college who was quite young, would not be a part of the competition.

This was also one of the reasons why she didn't want to get pregnant.

There were a number of people watching her behavior and choices during their competition! The board, and the institutional venture capitalists—a tough and pretty uncompromising and male-dominated people.

Even though people said that women and men were equal in this time, there still existed a general prejudice against a woman with a child for balancing her career with a family.

That time, deciding to have a family may have harmed her career, so she chose her career and became the CEO.

James and Ryan, now that they knew, they would raise this in front of the investors. 

Who will see a pregnant woman as a CEO? They would think of it as a downside! She would have to face negative consequences.

While she had been on top of the ladder once, there was nothing for her except loneliness and desolation at the end of the day.

Since she had come back, she decided to stay away from the disputes of power and fortune. She was tired of fighting, but she will never let it fall in the hands of these dogs.

 Second was to love, care and appreciate her loved ones;
