Reborn as a Mom

They say, you should to 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer.' The problem was past Ira couldn't even tell them apart, whether a person was a friend or an enemy.

With all the knowledge and experience of her past life, Ira would play with her enemies, one by one. She laid the traps and, now, she only needed to wait. Wait for them to fall into it.

Ira decided to act normal towards Secretary Roth and James to not attract their suspicions whilst they also tried to live normally in their life. Meanwhile, she hastened the progress of the drug research, making changes to the contents and quantity of the ingredients which she recalled from her previous life. In a few days, the drug was successfully created and tested. She bought an old factory and renovated it for the mass production of the successful drug in a very remote area to hide the production from the stealing eye of her James and Roth. She applied for a patent of the drug under a different name.

Ira did everything in utmost secrecy and Vivan gladly helped her with the funds she lacked for the project. 

Without any knowledge, James Louis invested a lot of money for the fake drug research and the acquisition of a factory for drug production. He fed a lot of money to the officials to make a fake patent for ownership of the drug. 

Ira had a man on James' back, a detective she hired. But James was smart as he never did things on his own. She kept a careful watch on both Roth and Ryan as well in hopes of collecting evidence and find their partner to S Company. Ira wanted to catch the big fish, but it turned futile. Most of James' work was done by Secretary Roth.

A month later, everything was set. She got her patent and also had a supply ready for the official release of the drug. 

What she didn't have was the evidence on James' betrayal. She already submitted evidence of Roth's activities to the authorities and told her dad about it, finally.

Now, the new drug was released for clinical trials.

Roth was arrested on the grounds for sharing sensitive information and bribery. He was sentenced to jail for 37 months that is 3 years and he paid a huge fine. 

He was done for.

James lost a huge amount of money, and perhaps the trust of his partner. The S Company vanished as if it had never existed.

His face was sullen during the drug release celebration.

The amount of support she received from Vivan was enormous. 

Vivan initially worked as an architect in an established firm for 3 years. Then with these years of experience, he started his own firm from scratch.

That was the time they got married. He had no projects, no money for a few months with all his investments in the firm. This made a career loving Ira disregard his skills, disregard him.

Nevertheless, in just 2 years, he built a foundation of relationships, connections, and resources. His assistance helped her in a way more than she expected, not just financially or emotionally. Vivan had his own network of contacts in almost all sectors of society; lawyers, the police. The officials, even the workers for the factory, were all arranged by him in just a phone call.

Ira was genuinely impressed by Vivan's sincere help. She just needed to say something and it would be done almost immediately by her loving husband.
