I accidentally married a "CEO"

Master Has Fainted!

Master Has Fainted!

The young housekeeper was immensely shocked to see Grandfather Go faint right in front of her eyes. Then, she began panicking and hysterically screaming for someone to appear.

"Help!... Help! Master has fainted!" She squealed like a hyena that everyone in the Mansion ran to see what was occurring.

"Call the family doctor quickly!" The Chef ordered while stooping down, ready to give the older man CPR. Fortunately, though, before he had an opportunity, Grandpa Go regained consciousness.

Not long after that, the family doctor arrived, with eyes overflowing with care for Grandfather Go.

"How are you feeling? You are pretty lucky that I was close by. If not, who knows what would have happened to you? Can you tell me how many fingers I'm holding up?"

He placed his hands in front of the older man, "Two!" Grandpa Go replied, still groggy and out of sorts. "Are you sure now?" The Doctor humorously asked him.

"Why don't you ever listen to any advice I give you? I told you! Not just once, but many times to not anger yourself, or it could cost your life. You never listen!" The Family Doctor retorted.

"I know... I know! I was doing my best not to get upset, but this rascal of a grandson of mine just did it on purpose. He has proceeded and got himself a wife, knowing I already have one chosen for him. So how am I supposed to take it casually? Tell me!" He told him fiercely.

"What do you mean he got married? To whom? Which girl? It's amazingly unbelievable. Jeff finally outwitted you. Haha, ha!" The doctor patted grandpa Go's shoulder as he chuckled out loud.

"Well, it seems that you're doing fine now, so what's the plan? I know you are scheming something to get even with your grandson, and you want me to help you, right? Just like four years ago." He asked Grandfather Go thoughtfully.

"Well... I do have something in mind that I want you to help me with. If this works out, that undesired granddaughter-in-law will be out of the picture before my 70th birthday." Grandfather Go mischievously notifies the family Doctor.

In the meantime, at the Tan Mansion, Sophia was excited over something. The whole Mansion was a buzz, and she has been ordering them left and right since daybreak.

"Edna, will you give me Miss Wen's telephone number? I want to invite her to tea."

Edna looked up Miss Wen's number and verbally gave it to Sophia. Then, just as she was about to return to what she was doing before, Sophia called her again.

"Call my designer to come. I have an idea for a gown that I wanted to wear for Chairman Go's 70th birthday party celebration."

"Yes, Mrs. Tan!" Edna proceeded to make the call to the designer. Fortunately, the phone only rang a couple of times before an assistant picked it up.

["Hello! It's Edna, Mrs. Tan's Manager, may I speak to the head designer. Yes! It's about a new design for her outfit." ]

Edna was on hold for less than a minute, and the head designer quickly got on the phone excitedly. Once he learned that it was Sophia's assistant, he dropped whatever he was doing and happily answered the call.

["Yes, my dear... you said that she has a design she wants me to look at, I mean to make? Sure-sure I'll be right over."] The designer hastily said, then hung up.

Meanwhile, Sophia made a call to Ann, but it was Lea who answered the call. ["Hello! Lea speaking, how can I help you?"]

["Hello! It's Sophia, may I speak with Ann."] She asked in a very demanding tone of voice; she was a Diva after all.

["Just a minute, please, let me see if she's available."] Lea replied sweetly but was contemplating if she should bother the couple or not. She was now in a dilemma. On the other end of the line was Sophia the Diva, and on this end was the Princess Diva.

She thought about playing dumb and to flat-out lie. But then, 'I could get into hot water if I'm caught, I better not.' She thought to herself, so she had no other choice but to go and let Ann know that she had a phone call and see what would happen from there.

Lea knocked on Ann's bedroom door, "Ann... it's me. Can you come out for a minute, please?" She whispered through the door, barely audible for anyone to hear. Ann and Jeff had gone back to sleep after their round 3; they had both gotten knocked out.

However, Ann was a light sleeper, and she had heard the light knocking that Lea did. She removed Jeff's hand from his embrace slowly to not wake him up. She then quietly got up from the bed, tip-toed to the door, opened it very slightly, and whispered back to Lea.

"What is it?"

Lea whispered back, " "Your Highness the Princess, a call from the Mother Queen! Ms. Sophia, the 'Diva."

Lea was only joking, not knowing how accurate what she just said was.

"Do you want to take the call?"

Ann was about to tell Lea that she was not available but decided against it. Instead, she opened the door a little more and put her hand out to take the phone from Lea before closing it back quietly.

"Ann speaking, how can I help you?" She said into the phone; she was doing her best to speak professionally.

"Hello! Ann, this is Sophia. If you have time, I was wondering if I could invite you to my home for a chat and some tea?"

Sophia anxiously waited for her reply, she was tapping her long beautiful fingernails on top of the legs, and her heart was beating fast.

Ann didn't know how to reply, " I'm sorry, but I don't think—"

Sophia cut her off before she had a chance to finish what she wanted to say.

"Please say you'll come! Please!!!" The sound of Sophia's voice was cracking like she was about to cry.

Ann felt her heart-crushing. She began stifling and was almost in tears hearing her mother beg. All her life, she yearned for her Mother to want to see her and to hear her say that... But now that she heard it, she didn't know what to say or do.
