I accidentally married a "CEO"

From the look on Jeff's face, one could tell that he was upset. Why would the women be in danger as Ethan had said, Jeff was having a hard time accepting the fact?     

He stayed standing and waited for Ethan to elaborate on what he had said. There was no way he would let his wife be in danger; he would stake his life for the safety of his family no matter what happened.     

Ethan was contemplating; he didn't know how he would explain to his brother without Jeff getting pissed in the long run. "My adopted father is one crazy son of a b***ch. Once he finds out that his right-hand man is dead, he will stop at nothing until he gets his revenge.     

"He will stop at nothing if he finds out that the man that killed his right-hand man was under your employment, the first target will be your family, which includes Grandfather and me as well," Ethan explained the best way he could.     

"That's a given, but why did you say that only the women would be in danger? What about you and Grandfather, shouldn't both of you be in danger as well.?"     

"Yes! But we know how to take care of ourselves, along with the many bodyguards that are protecting Grandpa. That is why I'm not too concerned about our safety.     

"So! What do you suggest we do right now? We need to think fast because if I'm not mistaken, it's only a matter of time before he finds out."     

"Right now, the only thing I can think of is to take the women and move elsewhere. Let us send them home to Asia away from danger as soon as possible." Ethan advised his older brother.     

"No! There's no way I am going to let my wife go back without me to protect her. If you want to send your woman on her own, that's your prerogative. But don't expect me to follow." Jeff turned around and left after scolding Ethan.     

Ann was sound asleep in the master bedroom when Jeff entered. He was reticent when he opened the door, afraid to make any sound.     

He slowly made his way to his wife's side of the bed and sat down, barely breathing. He put his fingers on her face, moved the strand of hair that fell out of place. Ann felt something touching her face and opened her eyes to find Jeff's concerned look staring down at her.     

"What's wrong honey, you look exhausted and about ready to fall asleep standing?" Ann squinted her eyes, looking at him with one eye shut and another open.     

Instead of answering her, Jeff gave Ann a light kiss on her forehead and stayed motionless for a minute.     

"CEO Go, will you please tell me what's wrong? You're scaring me here, you know?"     

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you; you know how I am when it comes to you. I get too... I don't know... alright!" Jeff decided to tell Ann what just happened next door. This way, she could help to make the decision and to know about the bodyguard situation.     

"Sweetheart, something happened at the next villa, and your bodyguard was involved. He's currently at the County Sherrif Office, but don't worry he will be back soon. The best legal team is currently handling his bail."     

Ann, who was half asleep just a moment ago, was now fully awake. She pulled herself up in a sitting position, so she was face to face with Jeff. "Tell me, what happened all of it, don't leave anything out, please!"
