The Wizard called Oz - HP

[Belarus] - Oz vs Golgomath

[Belarus] - Oz vs Golgomath

As the giants counted down in their tongue, Oz braced himself for the fight ahead. He knew in some ways he was a bit in over his head challenging a giant like this even with his dragon physique plus augmentum running full throttle however this was the only way the him of right now could grow further, throwing himself into the thick of battle.

((("FIGHT")))

As soon as Ifum and the giants in the crowd shouted fight Oz darted forwards to Golgomath at a fast speed. Golgomath on the other hand stood still with a sly grin, looking down on the little wizard approaching him at such a speed. Throwing his arm out, Oz punched towards Golgomath who mirrored Oz's actions, punching right back.

*BOOOOM*

The clash between Golgomath and Oz resulted in a shockwave that sounded out through the arena. Oz was forced back a few steps from the clash, his arm in pain due to the clash. Surprisingly though, Oz's arm was still in tact despite clashing with a giant. As the giants in the crowd realised this, there opinions on the match suddenly changed. This was especially so for Ifum who seemed to all of a sudden hold a glint of hope in her eyes.

Whilst the first clash seemed to show that Oz had the strength to be here to some degree it still showed how powerful Golgomath was. The prodigy giant hadn't even budged a single bit.

("Impressive little wizard! This fight maybe somewhat interesting!").

Golgomath seemed to spit something out as he charged towards Oz, not giving Oz a moment of break. As Oz saw Golgomath charge at him he noted that the notion of giants being inherently 'slow' was bullshit.

'How the fuck can he move so fa-'.

Before Oz could even finish his though Golgomath was on him unleashing a punch much more powerful than the one before. Oz's intuition told him meeting this fist would be a terrible idea considering the force it was coming at him at. At this moment, Oz pushed augmentum to its fullest, forcing it to help his reaction speed instead of overall strength. With augmentum running overtime, Oz was able to dodge the punch by a hair's breadth.

Golgomath looked down at the little wizard stunned. It was very rare for an opponent, especially a frail wizard like Oz to dodge his assault like that. As Oz dodged the assault he immediately made some distance between them.

Oz wiped the sweat from his brow as he tried to think of how he could get the upper hand in this fight. Sadly for Oz, nothing came to mind immediately. After all, it was Oz's first time in a brutal clash like this, a hands to hands fight. Oz just so happened to also pick a giant as his first opponent in a fight like this which was basically skipping to the end boss instead of slowly working through the dungeon.

'All I can do is continue to fight and fight and fight until I see some sort of opening'.

To everyone's surprise after Golgomath's assault, Oz who had just gained distance charged directly back at Golgomath ready for another clash. Golgomath smiled as he welcomed the little wizard. This clash however went differently to the first. Oz who punched out wasn't met with Golgomath's fist but instead was dodged by Golgomath.

'Shit-'.

Using the opening created, Golgomath smashed down towards Oz who pushed himself to the limits to dodge. Despite trying to dodge to his utmost ability, Oz was still hit by Golgomath on the side of his stomach.

This single bit of contact launched Oz towards one side of the arena, crashing into the floor. The giants around the arena roared seeing such a display. Ifum on the other hand seemed to lose the glint of hope in her eyes, regressing back to cheering and jeering along with the crowd. At the side of the stadium, the one anomaly in the crowd Alfreda looked like she was ready to charge into the arena. As a matter of fact she already had the plan in her mind that if her master was near death she would apparate both of them out of there.

Golgomath looked sneeringly over at Oz who was picking himself up. Oz clutched the side of his stomach, blood coming out of his mouth as he looked at the prodigy giant.

'Another thing I didn't account for... I thought giants were just brute force braindead idiots but in fact, they have experience in battle. They may even have martial experience to some extent. He exploited my dumb decision to charge right at him again'.

The heat of battle was rising. The blood that poured from Oz's mouth, the pain he felt to his side, the numbness he felt in his arm. They all felt vivid as day to Oz. Yet despite this position he was in, he looked at Golgomath with a cold smile. His blood was started to boil at this fight. Looking at Oz's cold smile towards him, Golgomaths sneering look changed to that of confusion and surprisingly for him, even a slight fear. Feeling this fear he instantly shook it off and charged at Oz again in anger at his own fleeting emotions.

Oz who barely had time to catch his breath prepared for another clash. Trying to find a weakness in a fight like this was next to impossible. Golgomath may be insufferable but he was a prodigy giant who had been fighting fights like this all his life. His experience was many times above Oz. All Oz could do was experience clash after clash, growing his own experience and hope an opening showed itself.

Clash after clash after clash. Oz constantly went against Golgomath. The giants who watched the fight were in awe as they saw this little wizard constantly pick himself up again and charge in for another round. The most shocking thing was the little wizard visibly improved with each clash. Golgomath seemed to slowly be getting more and more enraged as the fight continued, his attacks becoming more ferocious and cunning.

After one of many clashes Oz found himself standing up slowly again. His vision was slightly blurred from the continuous hits he was receiving at times. As the fight progressed he managed to dodge more and more attacks yet some still reached him. His body was covered in wounds, bludgeoned by a giants fist all over. Meanwhile Golgomath looked fine with only slight bruises appearing on different parts of his body where Oz had managed contact.

Oz didn't know how long he had fought at this point. He had fully absorbed himself into the fight neglecting his condition. He focused fully on improving his hand to hand combat capability.

'I need some sort of way to damage him more... but how!?'.

Gritting his teeth, Oz charged at Golgomath again. However unlike when he first charged at him at the beginning of the fight he this time showed a lot more control and planning towards his movements, his overall ability compared to the beginning of the match had changed drastically. Golgomath dodged his assault and tried to land a punch on Oz however Oz managed to dodge his attack jumping to the side. As Golgomath was open, Oz put all his strength, including augmentum aiding him, into his fist as he launched it at Golgomath's side. His fist connected with the giant and indented slightly. Golgomath winced for a split second before throwing another fist at Oz. Oz seeing this fist coming his way quickly jumped back away from the fist. Looking at where he landed a hit Oz's frustration grew.

'Theres no way for me to win this using my fists. On top of that 'Augmentum' is nearly about to be used up... I wish I could just turn into a dragon and crush him but I have no experience fighting in that form either'.

Oz was at his wits end in this fight. Without being able to use magic in this fight he was backed into a corner fully. If it wasn't for 'Augmentum' and his dragons blood improving his physique somewhat, Oz would have died in the first clash with Golgomath. Even with these two abilities aiding him though, he was accruing many injuries and soon he would be completely spent out.

Golgomath didn't give Oz any time to think of a solution as he continued to charge him. More clashes continued and it was become noticeable to the crowd that Oz was now getting more and more exhausted especially with the number of wounds on him. The giants in the crowd had all come to deeply respect this little wizard including Ifum. When he first arrived and asked to challenge their prodigy they thought him a fool. Yet watching his sheer determination in this fight, watching him constantly get back up clashing over and over again, they started to hold a deep respect for the little wizard called 'Oz'.

After an unfortunate clash, Oz found himself launched out towards a side of the stadium, his face laid in the dirt. He immediately picked himself back up. Adrenaline marched through his body making the injuries he had gathered on his body feel like nothing. His mind was working overtime trying to find a way to turn the tide of battle before its too late. His perfect memory was running through nearly every event he'd been through hoping for a solution, maybe in a book somewhere was a giants weak point, maybe an internal spell Oz glossed over that could give him an edge. At this point he was desperate, searching for anything.

As his mind worked overtime he suddenly remembered a scene with Alfreda one summer, within Merlin's hideout.

.

"Master, how did you find out about your dragon form again?".

Oz smirked as he put the book he was scanning through down, looking over at the curious Alfreda who was petting Norberta. Oz looked into the fireplace as he recalled that night.

"Back then I was being tutored by Dumbledore... The plan was to go through an Animagus ritual to get my Animagus form. I don't know how or why, maybe something within the Animagus ritual itself, but my 'blood' reacted violently to the ritual and overtook it. I transformed into my dragon form then and there. When I transformed back to my original form my physique, my eyes and some parts of my appearance had changed... I'll never forget that old mans shocked and fearful eyes looking at me when I turned back to my human form hahaha".

After a light laugh with Alfreda, Oz sighed as he continued.

"The only explanation that comes to mind is that my blood was dormant since I was... born. When the Animagus ritual tried to give me a 'beast' form my blood responded violently as it had already laid its 'claim' on me. In that moment it awoke and presented me with a dragon form instead of a normal Animagus form".

Alfreda nodded at her masters words and silence once again filled the hideout. Oz looked at Norberta who was sleeping soundly next to Alfreda. A random thought spilled out his lips looking at the young dragon.

"I wonder... if Dragon form is different to Animagus form in some ways...".

.

Oz didn't know why he remembered this event in the heat of battle however those words he spoke near the end of the memory seemed to linger.

'Dragon form is different to Animagus form...'

Whilst Oz continued his thoughts he was still clashing with Golgomath again and again. The cycle of constant clashes felt endless. The only change was Golgomath's face which was slowly becoming twisted more and more as the fight continued.

'Fuck if only I had claws or some-'.

Oz's mind stopped at that thought. An idea sprung to mind, something he never would have tried if it wasn't for this moment of desperation. His memory interlinked with the thought he just had.

'Dragon form is different to Animagus form... If only I had claws...'.

Oz was once again launched away by Golgomath and yet again he stood up. It was hard to see a part of Oz that wasn't caked in blood at this point. Despite his appearance though, he still stood up every single time. Oz's eyes gleamed a deep purple looking at Golgomath. A radical idea had formed in his head.

'It's the only thing I can think of...'.

A deep draconic aura spilled out from Oz as the giants who watched on shrunk back in fear. This included Golgomath who stopped his assault to look at Oz deeply. Alfreda on the other hand who was watching the fight ready to grab Oz at any moment looked at her master in shock.

"Masters... transforming?".

This similar aura would spill out when Oz would turn into his dragon form. However it would usually only be present for a split second as the form change began. This time however, the aura was still spilling out despite Oz who should have transformed at this time. Oz's eyes looked bloodshot and it seemed as though he was trying to 'control' something within himself.

Oz took off his right hands glove that was tattered from the fight anyway, exposing his bruised hand that had gone through many clashes. To the entire audiences surprise, the hand seemed to be bubbling weirdly. After some moments of bubbling, the skin on Oz's hand started to turn black.

black and scaly.

"What is master doing!?".

Alfreda was completely stumped along with the giants that stood by her in the crowd. Oz's hand seemed to be morphing. Scales appeared, his hand turned black and his nails grew into claws. After a short period of confusion, the crowd looked at Oz's hand in awe.

It had turned into a claw, a black dragons claw.
