67. Monsters Family
"KYAA, JON, WHAT HAPPEN WITH YOUR HANDS?"-Nami scream and attracted everyone's attention.
Jon look at his hands and it become purple and the purple color go to his palm and now concentrate in his index finger at each hand. Jon could feel what is it and he go to the sink, take a senbon and stab his fingers. Then a dark substance come out from his fingers. He let it out until it gone and become red blood, then he washed it.
"W-what is that?"-Nami
"Ah, it's like the residue of pills, or toxin. So it's like my body's method of detoxification."-Jon
"Can we do it too?"-Chopper
"I don't know, it's also my first time and i don't know how it happen. My guess is i ate too many pills in the past and my body forced the residue to come out now."-Jon
"Then, will we be alright after eating some pills before?"-Sanji
"I think it's fine, i have done it for some years while you just ate it some months ago. Beside, you didn't ate as many as me in these months."-Jon
They feel relieved and Jon start eating with Luffy. Well, Luffy eat while he sleep, no one know how he do it. While he eat, he look around and see that Zoro is not here.
"Where's Zoro?"-Jon
"He want to buy a good sword, because one of his sword break."-Nami
"Ah, yubashiri right? Can he come back on his own though?"-Jon
""Pfft, hahaha""-All
They all laugh and imagine Zoro try to find a way back but keep failing. Then suddenly the door open with a loud bang. Franky and the square sisters come inside the room with their strange pose. He look around and see that not everybody is here but most of them are here, so he sit on the floor and start to talk.
He told a story about a legend that passed down from generation to generation. Many shipwrights know this story. It's about a tree in an island that always havr war happen. Forest, houses, mountain, everything got destroyed, but there's only one thing that didn't get destroyed.
That is a tree called the Treasure Tree Adam. Jon know this, and he almost forgot that Franky stole their money to bought the wood from this tree. He want to beat Franky now, but decide to listen first as he will not come here and told them all of this without something in his mind.
Finally Franky told them what he want to do with the wood he bought using their money. He will make a ship which he designed since a long time ago. It's his dream to build a ship that can sail all across the world. Franky has taken a liking to them so he decide to build it for them.
The crew of course become happy they can get a new ship and they don't lose their 200 millions. It become a new ship, so it's not a loss. It became a profit instead as they don't need to pay for the service. Jon smiled and talk to Franky.
"Well, it's good that you decide to give back our 'investations', because we know what you want to buy after you take our money. We almost forgot to beat your ass, but now it seem you have been pardoned for your sin."-Jon
Franky feel a chill in his body because Jon look at him with scary expression. He still feel upset about that event, so he decide to get revenge at Franky a bit. Then he laugh at Franky's terrified face and the other also laugh. Franky got upset and scream and cursing to them.
But suddenly the front wall got destroyed and an old voice is heard. It's an old man with Marine uniform and dog hat.
"Are you Strawhat pirate crew? There's someone that want to meet with Monkey D. Luffy."-Old Marine
"Shit, marines, everyone got ready!"-Jon
The old marine look at Luffy that sleeping soundly and smile. Then suddenly he disappeared and appeared in front of Luffy. Jon can only see a glimpse of his movement even with his sharingan, and he suddenly appear beside him. The old marine then punch Luffy on his head.
"WAKE UP, LUFFY!"-Old marine
Jon got surprised seeing this and he immediately send a punch to the old marine's body because he is right beside him. His punch connected but he feel like punching a steel wall when he's still weak. Then the old marine also punch Jon in the head and he fall down to the floor.
""AARRGHHH, IT HURTS!""-Luffy & Jon
All of that happen in a split second so Luffy's and Jon reaction are almost at the same time. The old marine got surprised seeing Jon's fast reaction. Well, thanks to his sharingan that he feel has become somewhat stronger now. His reaction speed has become faster too because of that.
Just when the old marine punch Luffy, Jon punch him, but then he too immediately punch Jon to the floor. Now Jon & Luffy are holding their head while having some tears. Jon didn't know what this old timer do, but it hurts like hell. It's like he didn't give punch but give pain itself.
The other got surprised seeing this, especially because Luffy feel pained from a punch. Only Jon has ever punch him and he feel pain, but it's not to this level. When Jon punch Luffy, everyone can see the blue layer of chakra, but now it just seem like casual punch. Even Jon got hit in a split second too.
"Heeh, what a good seed, it's a pity you become a pirate."-Old timer
He look at Jon when he said that, then he look at Luffy.
"I hear you were acting recklessly, Luffy."-Old timer
The old timer open his hat and Luffy got very surprised seeing him. Jon also got surprised as he know who is this old timer.
"GEH, G-GRA-GRANDPA?!"-Luffy
"WHAT? Isn't he Marine Hero, Vice Admiral Garp?"-Jon
The other also got surprised knowing that Luffy's grandpa is a vice admiral. Not to mention the Marine Hero Garp. Luffy told them to not attack Garp but they know it already after seeing Jon got defeated instantly.
The both of them have some talk, well, argument about Garp want to make Luffy a good marine, but Luffy want to be a pirate. Then they have some talk, mainly Garp lecturing and disciplining Luffy. They even sleep while standing, really like parent like child.
Then suddenly Zoro come from outside the gate and attack the marines. Garp command 2 people that seem like his student as they're still young to stop Zoro. Zoro got attacked by a blonde guy using a Kukuri blade. Luffy try to stop Zoro, but a pink haired guy attack him and use Soru.
Jon has seen that technique many times and he know the principles behind it now. He also got the Rokushiki manual in Enies Lobby. He haven't told the crew yet because he want to wait Luffy wake up first.
Luffy & Zoro easily defeat their opponents, and it seem that they actually are acquintances. Luffy & Zoro got inside the house and Garp told his subordinates to fix the wall. They complained because he ask them to fix it right after he break it.
"An entrance like that is cooler right?"-Garp
The marines complained again and the Straw Hats look at Jon.
"What are you looking at? My entrance are always cooler than that."-Jon raised an eyebrow.
The crew sigh and look at the marines that fixing the wall. Jon take some food and eat again, that old timer has disturb his meal.
"That's right Luffy, i heard you have met your dad."-Garp
"Dad? What do you mean? Did i have a dad?"-Luffy
"He didn't introduce himself? I heard you met him in Loguetown."-Garp
"How did he look like?"-Luffy
"His name is Monkey D. Dragon, a revolutioner."-Garp
Everyone got shocked and Jon choked by his food. Everybody surprised but Luffy himself is not surprised. Well, he don't know that name at all.
Then Robin told him about Dragon that is the most wanted man in the world. He is the leader of Revolutionary Army that oppose the World Goverment directly. It's assumed that they want to throw World Goverment from it's position now. That's why Dragon that made it, become the most wanted criminal.
Even Jon that only come to this world 2 years ago know about this. He has read many document and newspaper so of course he know. But Luffy never read, so it's understandable that he didn't know anything about Dragon.
But then Garp told them that he shouldn't say those things, so he said that the talk earlier is not happening with a dumb expression. Jon know Luffy's character is most likely come from his grandpa. No way it come from his dad, or Revolutionary Army will not be this big because they will just attack World Goverment when they're just made.
Even so this family, is really full of monsters. A Marine Hero that is said to be equal with Pirate King Gol D. Roger. A Revolutionary Leader that become the most wanted man. Now there's a guy with ambition to be a Pirate King. 3 generation in a family that stand on different side, crazy.
After that Luffy went to talk with Koby and Helmeppo, his friends. Jon decide to follow Nami, Grandma Kokoro, Chimney and Gonbe to the pool. He want to relax but the house is very loud with all those marines.
But the pool is also not a relaxing place it seems. Jon saw Grandma Kokoro turn into a mermaid and he almost got drowned because he is too surprised. The first real mermaid he see has got to be an old mermaid. At least he want to see some young ones first.
Then Chimney and Gonbe ask him to play with them because Nami didn't want to play. She is eavesdropping to Luffy's conversation with the marines. Jon know this, that's why he didn't do the spying work.
He play with Chimney and Gonbe and enjoy his day. He like this little girl, she's always energetic and happy. She start to treat her like a little sister too. He was a big brother, so whenever he met children, he will remember his little siblings. That's why he always fond if children like Aisa and Chimney.
He keep playing with Chimney and Gonbe with his ninja technique like walking and running on water with them. He also bring them to climb the tall wall beside the pool, and jump to the pool. He did what they ask as it's a rare chance to play like a kid.
Sometime later, Sanji come and he cook some food. Then after that, the other crew also come and they start to have party using local meats. Even Sogeking also come, he want to have fun with them but it seems he's still embarassed to come with his real self.
Then the Franky Family and Galley-la shipwrights also come and their party become very big. Not to long after that, the citizens nearby also come and join the party.
They all enjoy the party, but then Jon see Robin stand and lean on the wall. He feel something is amiss and use his sharingan. He see Aokiji standing behind the wall and they seem to talk. Aokiji didn't attack Robin or anything like that, but Jon still put up his guard.
Robin and Aokiji seem to finished their talk and Aokiji leave. Jon relieved seeing this, because no one here can stop Aokiji if he attack. Jon didn't know their conversation but he think it's personal, so he won't pry onto it. He forget about it and continue enjoying the party.
