The Legend of the Kyubi

Cap 108: Genocide Route

Cap 108: Genocide Route

Minato tried to put on a brave face but fear was apparent in his face as he felt a pair of fangs on his neck. He could feel how at any second he could die without being able to do anything.

"Do you know Minato?" - asked Kurama as he looked at him neutrally - "I wanted to give you a quick death as a reward for not being so bad all your life... but your words made me change my mind..."

"Ugh..." - Minato could only complain when he felt something hit him in the stomach.

"I'm not the type to get angry about anything..." - continued the boy with foxy features - "But there are certain words that make me explode easily... and to your misfortune... you said them..."

Minato gritted his teeth as he looked up to throw his three-pronged kunai.

Kurama tilted his head to avoid the attack, only to see Minato disappear from his location.

"Gotcha!" - Minato exclaimed, only to feel hit by a bat and sent flying again.

"Simple trick..." - the redheaded man muttered as he shook one of his tails. "You think I'd fall for a trick like that? You despise me too much, Minato."

Minato stood up again, only to notice how the redheaded man looked at him with disdain - "If one cannot... then I'll try with 10!"

Minato threw his kunai again and teleported at high speed from one to the other in an attempt to confuse the ginger's senses. He used the art of weapon manipulation to manually move the direction of his kunai to make his movements more surprising.

Kurama only looked at him silently as he rolled his eyes back and forth waiting for him to come close.

"Now! Rasengan!" - Minato exclaimed when he noticed his opponent was looking in another direction.

Kurama quickly glanced at him as he created his Rasengan to impact his enemy's.

"Huh?!" - Minato could not believe how quickly he had created his technique, much less that he could react so quickly.

"Surprised?" - Kurama asked neutrally - "You shouldn't be... not when a Bijuudama is much harder to create than this toy"

Minato again gritted his teeth furiously because his opponent was mocking his greatest creation. He was always proud of his Rasengan, a technique that had been labeled the greatest exponent of chakra control.

With a quick movement, he tried to disappear with his Hiraishin but before he could do anything, he felt something snap against his neck firmly - "Ack!"

"Don't go so fast, Minato..." - said Kurama as he pulled the blond man in with his tail - "I still haven't decided what to do with you..."

Minato was trying to free himself from his opponent's grip but the tail that seemed so soft was pressing down on him like a mechanical claw.

"What can I do first?" - said Kurama as he wagged his tail to shake the blond - "Maybe break your arms? Perhaps tear the ligaments in your legs? I could even pull out your intestines, drain your blood and pull your lungs out through your back..."

"!" - Minato turned pale when he heard these words because every punishment he heard was worse than the last.

"Maybe I should cut out your tongue, pull out your eyes, rip out your ears and break your nose..." - muttered the ginger as a sadistic smile appeared on his face - "How does that sound, Minato? Could you tell me what you think of the idea of becoming a human vegetable?"

"M-Monster..." - said Minato with what little air he had left.

"You could never say it better!" - exclaimed Kurama as he burst out laughing madly - "I am Kurama Uzumaki! The Kyubi no Yoko! The Bijuu King! The Strongest Tailed Beast! I am the embodiment of hate, fear, anger!"

Kurama threw Minato away again with ease as he began to cough, finally having some air to use.

Minato tried to get up again, only to feel the redhead grab him by the head and smash him to the ground - "Argh!"

"You know Minato? I can kill you so easily" - said Kurama as he continued to whip him fiercely to the ground - "I can end your pathetic excuse of existence... I can destroy all your dreams and aspirations... but that wouldn't be any fun..."

"Ah!" - Minato could only groan in pain as he felt his skull was about to explode.

"You can consider this a part of my Bijuu side... the desire to see how you try in every possible way to fight against the inevitable, only to see how reality crushes you with the passing of seconds" - said Kurama while he raised the bloody head of the blond man and looked at him directly in the eyes - "You don't know how I wish that fear consumes every part of your body... how you give up when you understand that your destiny is under my control... how you beg me to let you live even though you know that's not possible and finally, how you accept your death after going through a hell of a lot of pain and suffering"

Minato was shaking because he understood that every word he said was completely true. He could feel the fear slowly consuming him as the redheaded man looked at him with amusement. Minato could feel how his enemy was enjoying every second of his pain and suffering - "Monster..."

"We've already made that clear, Minato" - said Kurama boringly as he shook his tails quietly - "Could you tell me something more original... I don't know... maybe a demon? No... that's also a cliché...hmm... now that I think about it, there's nothing original for this situation..."

Minato couldn't hide the helplessness he felt right now, as anger grew with every second as he felt how weak he was in front of his opponent.

"I will not be defeated again by a beast like you!" - roared Minato as he began to release his entire chakra - "I will have my revenge!"

"Hmm... A human's hatred is an interesting thing" - said Kurama as he looked at the blond man calmly - "It can be a good force to overcome fears... a pity it is useless"

"RASENGAN!" - roared Minato as he threw himself back at the redhead with a chakra sphere in his right hand, only to summon another with his left - "Double Rasengan!"

"Seal of Gravity... Kai..." - said Kurama as he felt his body release all its restrictions - "I'm going to enjoy this..."

Having said that, he disappeared from his location and reappeared on top of the blonde - "You're not as fast as you think, Minato... Rasengan!"

"!" - Minato again opened his eyes in surprise as he felt a mountain fall on his shoulders. The Rasengan he had received was much stronger and more concentrated than the last ones, which made him feel even more uncomfortable because it was as if the redhead was spitting in all his efforts.

"B-Bastard!" - roared Minato as he struggled to get up.

"It's a beautiful day out here... don't you think?" - said Kurama as he ignored the blond - "Birds singing... flowers blooming..."

"On days like these... men like you..." - murmured the redhead as he gave his opponent the wildest, most grotesque smile possible - " THEY SHOULD BURN IN HELL! ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!"

Kurama's appearance changed again, he had now taken on the appearance of his Kyubi form, only in a much smaller size - "It's time for you to be judged... Minato..."

That said, he made a hand seal and everything around it became dark.

"Where are we?!" - roared Minato as he looked around. He could not access his Hiraishin kunai no matter how hard he tried to activate them, it was as if they were in a completely different dimension.

"Where? We have not moved from our original location, Minato," Kurama said from the darkness.

Minato shook slightly because he could feel the redhead speaking directly into his ear, so he quickly moved backward.

"What is that I smell? Is it fear?" - Kurama asked again as Minato shook again - "Did I hit the nail on the head?"

"You're wrong!" - Minato roared as he looked around with a kunai in his hands.

"Don't lie, Minato," murmured Kurama as he burst out laughing. "I can feel it... how you are terrified of not knowing where you are... being consumed in terror of not knowing when you will receive the next attack..."

". . ." - Minato only gritted his teeth as he concentrated on feeling his opponent's presence but the darkness around him made it impossible for him to detect anything more than two inches away.

"Come out and fight like a man, you beast!" - roared Minato as he tried to calm down.

"I think you don't understand something, Minato," said Kurama as he continued to watch him from the shadows. "A fight is a confrontation between two opponents who are on the same level or at least on a parameter where both have a chance to win... as for us... we are just a predator playing with his prey..."

"I am like a dangerous snake that slowly approaches a small mouse... feeling my prey's heartbeat speed up by the pressure it feels... slowly bringing my fangs closer to give it a deadly attack..." - continued the young Uzumaki as he laughed coolly - "Bum-bum... bum-bum... bum-bum-bum...bum-bum-bum"
