The Legend of the Kyubi

"Huh?" - the girls looked at each other in surprise because they couldn't believe their ears.     

"Congratulations ~" - said Kuroko as she continued drinking her coffee - "Delicious."     

"I don't remember signing that" - said Kurama with a frown.     

"It's next to the responsibilities to maintain your independence" - replied Kuroko as she handed him a document signed with a section marked with red.     

Kurama took the document, only to freeze when he read more carefully and see that the woman was correct - ". . ."     

"Well, now that we got the point clear, I'm going to give you the choice of whom you want" - Kuroko said as he handed her 5 documents, each with a picture and description of the girl.     

Kurama sighed before going through the information carefully, only to freeze as he saw how he was being given only problematic girls.     

He was starting to see the pattern, so he quickly picked up the last document and see the most normal of the girls - "A [Lamia]?"     

"I knew you'd pick her" - Kuroko said as she clicked her tongue - "You're strong, and you have an army of [Minotaurs], why didn't you pick the [Dragonewt]?"     

"Because I don't want my home to be a constant war zone" - said Kurama as he gave the black-haired woman a blank stare - "I want to assume that your superiors handed you only this information, and you brought the others in to see if I would agree to have any of the more troublesome girls, didn't you?"     

"No?" - Kuroko replied as she averted her gaze.     

Kurama and the girls gave her a blank look before snorting in disdain.     

Kuroko may not work as a coordinator anymore, but she still had to suffer with the [Interspecies] who were dangerous for normal people to live with, though to her luck, there was a "guardian" who wasn't normal and could control those girls, yet it was a pity that he didn't wish to do so.     

"Maybe someday you will achieve your goal, but for now it won't be possible" - said Kurama with disdain - "Anyway, I guess I'll meet her when I go to the facility to do the tests."     

"Exactly" - nodded Kuroko as she pondered - "How many of them, are pregnant?"     

". . ." - Kurama was silent as the girls looked at each other confused because they weren't sure.     

Urt for his part only blushed when she heard this as she shook her head.     

"Normally, the [Minotaurs] have a gestation time similar to humans, but they feel much earlier when they're pregnant, so I'd like to make sure and ask if any of you have shown symptoms of pregnancy" - Kuroko said seriously.     

"No, which is strange with how much we did it" - replied Mil while tilting her head - "Hmm."     

The girls looked at each other quizzically, only to notice how Urt was averting her gaze.     

"Urt?" - asked Mil as she narrowed her eyes, only to notice a small detail, the [Minotaur's] more timid [Minotaur] breasts, had not only grown slightly, but were lactating more frequently - "Are you pregnant?"     

"I-I'm not sure" - Urt answered with a red face as she hid it with her hands.     

Kuroko raised an eyebrow before getting to thinking - "We'll find out when they go for their exams. The method to check if she's pregnant, it's not that complicated, we just need to take some samples."     

Urt nodded weakly as he looked at Kurama with a red face because it was obvious that she was the "favorite" of her new communal husband.     

"This is ridiculous, she is the first one even to be pregnant" - Chizu muttered with jealousy.     

"Chizu, think before you speak because you may hurt other people's feelings" - said Emmenta with annoyance.     

"I'm sorry, Urt-chan, it's just that I'm jealous, it's not like I hate you or anything" - replied Chizu immediately when she saw the pained expression of her friend and herd mate.     

"Y-you don't have to apologize, I understand" - replied Urt with a heavy smile.     

"Well done, idiot" - Mil said as she gave her subordinate a blank look - "That's what you get for not thinking before you speak."     

"Ugh, sorry" - muttered Chizu as she apologized again to Urt.     

"Well, leaving that aside, I wish you good luck in your medical exams" - said Kuroko as she was leaving, now that she had delivered the information, she needed to make some changes in her schedule to talk about the troubled girls under her control.     

"Thank you, come back soon" - said Chizu with a kind smile.     

"I promise I will, not everywhere I can get free food" - said Kuroko with a huge smile as she left.     

Kurama quickly started rubbing his forehead to get rid of his headache, only to ask the girls their opinions about his future new companion.     

"I don't have a problem, it's not like she would change our lifestyle too much" - said Mil while the other [Minotaurs] nodded, even Urt agreed to these words.     

"Having a [Lamia] in our home, would make me at least unable to be in much contact with her thanks to my biology" - said Yukio while frowning.     

"Relax, I'm sure I'll sort this out one way or another" - Kurama replied with a smile as he tried to relax the ice woman.     

Yukio nodded weakly as she started to think of a possible solution, only to check her body and notice how her temperature wasn't as low as she thought. She gave Kurama a glance before thinking in more detail and noticing how her biology seemed to have changed slightly, causing not only her to have a higher resistance to heat, but also her body to not release as much frigid air.     

"Is something wrong?" - Kurama asked as he noticed how the [Yuki-Onna] was looking at him closely.     

"I think this can be easily solved" - said Yukio calmly as a small smile appeared on her face.     

"Well, it's not like we can think of a possible solution when it's time" - said Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders.

The next day, the family had gone to the [Ministry of Interspecies Affairs] facility.     

Urt let out a sigh of relief and depression when she heard that she wasn't pregnant, it was just that such a good life had made her breasts grow rapidly, a situation similar to the other girls.     

During the exams, Kuroko called Kurama to meet the new part of their family, a cute [Lamia] of about 18-19 years old, although this could be debatable because the appearance of the [Interspecies] didn't always show their true age.     

But back to the topic, the girl had long beautiful red hair, amber eyes and a large bust for her human form, along with a long tail the same color as her hair.     

"Well, I'm going to leave you to get to know each" - said Kuroko Smith as she shrugged her shoulders and walked away.     

The [Lamia] girl looked confused at the white-haired Kitsune in front of her because she still couldn't believe that her "host/guardian", was another [Interspecies].     

"That woman" - Kurama muttered while holding the bridge of his nose, just to give the girl a glance - "I'm sorry for that woman's bad attitude, she never does her job well and is a person who constantly takes advantage of the kindness of others."     

"Somehow I could sense that she wasn't a good person" - snorted the girl, only to let out a small laugh - "Anyway, my name is Miia, and as you can see, I'm a [Lamia]"     

"Kurama, a Kyubi Kitsune" - replied Kurama as he gave a small bow before kissing the back of the girl's hand - "It's a pleasure."     

Miia blushed slightly before coughing to change the subject - "Well, there's a lot I want to ask you, but my biggest question is how an [Interspecies] can be my host."     

"Let's just say I have certain circumstances that allow me to do so" - Kurama replied as he shrugged - "I'm sorry I can't tell you those at the moment."     

"Don't worry, it's not like we have the confidence to tell each other everything about us from the start" - replied Miia sympathetically - "I would like to know more about my new home"     

"For personal reasons, and that you are possibly aware of, we decided to move to the countryside" - said Kurama while showing a few pictures to the girl - "We live in a farmhouse that I recently modernized, and that was adapted for us to live in. Possibly at the moment they are adapting it so that you too can move around the house without any problems."

"Impressive that your home is so big" - Miia said in surprise as she took a close look at the outside of the place and see how the farm seemed to be thriving - "I find it unbelievable that you said this farm has been in bad shape".     

"I have my methods to remedy that situation, not to mention that Mil and the others are quite good with farm work" - Kurama replied as he shrugged his shoulders.
