The Legend of the Kyubi

Next to the [Yuki-Onna], was a cute baby girl with white hair like her parents and blue eyes. She had two cute white fox ears sticking out of her head, and two fluffy tails wrapped around her body.     

"Two tails? I thought the [Kyubi Kitsune] were born with 9?" said Kuroko Smith in surprise as she looked at Kurama and Ils for an answer.     

"We [Kyubi] are [Kitsunes] with enormous power, each tail signifies how powerful we are, that's why these show our level in the hierarchy" - replied Ils neutrally - "That the little one was born with two tails, is a sign of her power and the purity of her blood, in fact, there has only been one [Kitsune] that has been born with two tails, and that is the legendary Tamamo no Mae."     

"Oh" - Kuroko nodded in surprise because the said [Kitsune], was known worldwide, she has even served as inspiration for hundreds of stories, games, or Anime.     

"Shh" - Kurama frowned as he heard how the women were arguing.     

Ils and the others, kept silent in embarrassment when they saw that they were making too much noise.     

Kurama slowly walked to the little girl and picked her up carefully, only to watch as the baby slowly opened her eyes.     

The male [Kitsune], felt his heart stop slightly at the beauty of his baby's eyes. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever met in this dimension.     

"Wow," Kuroko muttered in surprise when she saw the white-haired man's fatherly expression as she felt her heart give a small skip, though to her relief, no one noticed this detail because they were all gawking at Kurama's face.     

Yukio also opened her eyes as she heard the commotion, only to see how everyone was gathered around her and her baby, but her gaze was especially focused on her lover and the fruit of her love.     

"Look at her, Yukio, she's beautiful" - Kurama said with a smile as he used his tails to play with his baby's nose, an instinct that was ingrained in his DNA.     

The baby let out a cute giggle as she watched her father's tails, wagging back and forth as she followed them with her eyes while clapping her hands.     

"She is strong, you can feel it in her actions" - Ils said with excitement at seeing the next heir to the throne.     

That Kurama would be called the [Kitsune Emperor], was a fact that was written in stone because his name had already been spread to all corners of the [Kitsune World].     

Ils was just waiting for the old women to give their decree, so she could announce the current location of her sovereign, and with the arrival of an heiress, things would be much quicker.     

"Abua ~!" - the tiny, newborn [Kitsune] waved her hands erratically, as if to get her father's attention with her actions and babbling.     

Kurama smiled again as his tail wagged to his daughter, only to see her take it and put it in her mouth.     

"Isn't that dangerous?" - Kuroko asked with concern.     

"The tails of the [Kitsune] are germproof, so we don't need to use much care" - replied Ils calmly as she folded her arms - "In fact, we just bathe because it's fantastic the feeling of running water, more so when we groom our delicate tails because they are a token of our status"     

"That's good to hear, who knew I would learn something new in this situation" - Kuroko replied calmly as she looked with a smile at the little [Kitsune], seemed to be enjoying playing with her father's tail - "At times like this, I'm jealous that I don't have a tail like you guys"     

"You can have it if you wish" - Kurama replied as he shrugged his shoulders.     

"Can you turn me into [Kitsune]?!" - Kuroko exclaimed in surprise as she narrowed her eyes because if so, Kurama was a potential danger to humanity, and possibly the cause of the extinction of humans as we know them.     

"I think you're overthinking" - Kurama said with disdain - "I can't change your race, but I can create all sorts of things."     

Kurama snapped his fingers, and made what appeared to be a yellow fox tail appear.     

Kuroko gave him a blank look, then looked at the white-haired [Kitsune] - "Tell me it's not, what I think it is."     

"If you mean one of those things used in the bedroom, then no" - Kurama replied with a neutral expression - "I'm offended that you think that of me".     

"Then what is this?" - Kuroko asked with a frown.     

"It's a toy from my hometown" - replied Kurama with a smile - "Let's just say that in that place I'm quite popular, that's why people have used my image for different kinds of merchandise, and this is a not one of the best, a fox tail that you put on like a belt."     

Kuroko gave it one last glance before taking it and placing it around her waist, only to notice with surprise how the tail seemed to take on a life of its own and follow her every instruction. She could even tell it was connected directly to her despite it being impossible because there was no such advanced technology to simulate something like this.     

"Is this normal in your city?" - Kuroko asked after thinking his words through.     

"That's right" - nodded Kurama while shrugging his shoulders - "Let's just say that our technology had a different path than what exists in this city."     

"I see" - muttered Kuroko as her tail wagged back and forth - "This is fun."     

"Do you think you can give me one too?" - Yukio asked as she looked at the father of her daughter - "I'd like to use it when I play with Yuki."     

"Her name is Yuki?" - Kurama asked as he looked at the baby, who had fallen asleep while hugging her tail - "That's a cute name, Yuki Uzumaki."     

Yukio smiled when he heard this because it was a tradition for his race to use names with the Kanji of something related to winter, the most popular name being Yuki and its variants for obvious reasons.     

"Yuki, my little Yuki" - Yukio murmured as she felt her eyelids begin to weigh her down.     

"I think we'd better leave and let her rest, she's tried too hard and needs a moment to catch her breath" - said Urt as the others nodded.     

Kurama quickly summoned a second toy tail and replaced it with the one his little girl had in his arms, only to give her a kiss on the forehead - "Rest my little one, you too, Yukio."     

A small smile appeared on Yukio's face before she started to snore weakly.     

Kurama watched this with a smile before retreating, but not before making a hand seal and creating a small barrier around the mother and baby.     

He had managed to regain some of his chakra, and while it wasn't much, this was more than enough to ensure that nothing would happen to Yukio and Yuki while they rested.

Two days later, Yukio was returning home together with her baby, after the doctor made sure that nothing had happened during the last few days.     

Yuki was looking at the surroundings curiously while wiggling her little nose, as if she was registering everything around her.     

"Now that I see it better, Yuki-chan you don't have the normal features of a Kitsune" - Ils said with surprise because the baby was showing a human face like Yukio's and Kurama's, not like her who was showing slight animal features.     

"Well, like I said, I'm not a normal [Kitsune]" - Kurama replied while shrugging his shoulders - "In fact, I'm sure that I can do things that no other [Kitsune] can do, even in their dreams."     

"Like what?" - Ils asked curiously because she didn't know what he was trying to say.     

"Like, for example, transforming into a giant white fox with 10 tails" - Kurama answered with a huge smile - "Do you want to see it?"     

"Of course!" - Ils exclaimed with excitement because it was the first time he heard about the idea of transforming into a huge fox.     

"No way" - said Kurama curtly, only to let out a laugh when he saw how Ils was pouting - "Ok, I'm sorry, it's just that I saw you so excited that I couldn't help but make a joke out of you"     

"Does that mean you lied, my lord?" - Centorea asked as she raised an eyebrow.     

"I didn't lie, it's just that for now I can't transform for different reasons" - replied Kurama while sighing regretfully.     

"Really?" - Miia asked skeptically.     

"Well, the truth is that I can indeed transform" - said Kurama as he looked at the girls - "But currently I can only take the form of a fox cub."     

"I want to see it!" - Ils exclaimed with curiosity and excitement. The ability to transform, was something normal for them as [Kitsune], but the forms she can take, are human form, become a monster or objects, but animals was out of her repertoire for some strange reason.
