Extra 15: Dragon & Dragon Maids (10)

"I think it's here" - said Kurama as he looked at the huge mansion-like building.

Slowly, he used his Invisibility Jutsu and walked through the halls of the place, only to frown at the huge amount of negative emotions.

"For a place where the leaders who control what is legal or illegal in the magic field, this place seems to be full of corruption" - Kurama said as he narrowed his eyes and walked towards one of the few places where he could sense a kind soul, only to see a strange tree-like man.

"This is strange" - muttered the tree man - "I still can't understand the connection between Erza-chan, and the chaos caused by an unknown dragon."

"I want to guess that it's because they need someone to take the blame, and [Fairy Tail] is the perfect target for all the destruction they cause" - Kurama replied as he appeared in front of the man.

He was surprised when he saw this, but quickly calmed down when he noticed the mark of [Fairy Tail] on one of his half-bare pectorals - "It's not polite to enter other people's office, young fairy."

"Young?" - Kurama said with amusement - "Dude, I'm much older than you, I could even consider myself an ancestor if I compare myself to you."

The tree man was surprised again, but quickly shook his head thinking that maybe this was just the boy's joke, after all, all members of [Fairy Tail] had a somewhat volatile personality.

"It's up to you to believe me or not, I just wanted to talk to you because out of all the council members, you are the cleanest" - Kurama said while narrowing his eyes - "In the others I can sense darkness, not to the level of being a sin, but to the point where I can assure you that they are corrupt or have relations with certain illegal actions."

The tree man was silent for a few seconds before sighing - "I knew it would be like this, but I really wished my feeling was wrong."

"A kind heart shows strength, an extremely kind heart, shows weakness" - Kurama said while frowning - "Doing nothing while expecting others to change just because, is a sin equal if not greater than what they are committing, but I didn't come here to talk about that, I would like you to tell me some things that honestly have me confused, such as, what is your relationship with [Fairy Tail]"

"Maki-chan hasn't told you about why your guild is still standing despite all the damage you've caused?" - The tree man asked as he shook his head - "Well, I think it's better that way. Answering your question, it's because I'm one of the founding members of [Fairy Tail], as well as one of Maki-chan's father's friends."

"I see," Kurama muttered as he nodded. That explained why the tree man changed so drastically when he saw his guild mark.

"Oh, sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet, my name is Warrod Sequen, it's a pleasure, young fairy" - Warrod said with a fatherly smile.

"The pleasure is mine, Warrod-san" - nodded Kurama - "My name is Kurama Uzumaki, new member of [Fairy Tail] along with my adopted daughter, and her mother."

"I want to assume that you came to investigate about the reason for Erza-chan's capture, and why Natsu hasn't returned" - said Warrod while looking at the white-haired man - "The truth is that everything was going well, until Natsu came in disguised as Erza-chan to the place where we were giving a fake trial and started to cause a ruckus. In the end, I couldn't help them, and they had to be locked up in prison for disturbing the order of the Magic Council."

"That idiot" - muttered Kurama while holding the bridge of his nose - "Ok, I understand the motive, but I'm going to investigate a little more, and this I'm not doing because I don't trust you, but because I feel that there's something else hidden among all this."

"I have no problem even if you don't trust me, after all, this is the first time we've met, although it's a relief to hear that despite everything, you have a little trust in my words" - Warrod said with a smile.

"I can detect the emotions of the people around me, and read their movements like a book" - replied Kurama while giving a glance to the tree man - "The two together are practically reading minds, but without the need to invade people's privacy."

"Interesting skills" - Warrod said with an even bigger smile because he could sense that this man was much more than what was shown at first glance. This he didn't think so simply because he was from [Fairy Tail], but because his magic was moving erratically just by looking into his eyes, a feeling he had only ever had in the presence of God Serena.

"Well, it was nice talking to you, but now I need to keep investigating" - Kurama said before disappearing from the place.

"Teleportation?" - Warrod muttered with a frown - "He also possesses Invisibility, that already makes him a competent assassin, but I don't know anything about his offensive abilities yet."

Warrod wasn't saying this because he wanted to rat out the blond, but because he was curious about the new mage from his old guild.

"Maybe I should ask Maki-chan" - Warrod said as he shook his head before taking the documents on the table and starting to read them, only to frown as he saw how the [Alvarez Empire] again tried to contact them to negotiate - "This is becoming recurrent. Is it a sign that something is starting?"

Warrod was thinking ahead, unaware of how the fate of many people, was slowly beginning to move in a different direction than the already pre-established one.

* * * * *

"The others are beginning to doubt your actions" - said a female voice with a seductive tone - "This is strange, even for them."

"I know, but we can't deviate so much from the plan" - replied a male voice with a cold tone - "The appearance of a dragon is not a good sign, more so when it had enormous power"

"I know, I didn't think [Lullaby] would be eliminated so quickly either, let alone by a single attack" - replied the woman with a frown.

"Should we change our plan?" - The man asked as he looked at his beautiful companion.

"No, we don't even know if that dragon is an ally of [Fairy Tail], or it was just passing by when it sensed the demon" - replied the woman as she pondered - "Although I think it's a good idea that you don't get so obsessed with that girl named Erza."

"She's an important part of my plan to revive Zeref" - the man said with hostility - "I've been at this for years, so I'm asking you to stay out of this"

"If you say so ~" - replied the woman with disinterest, although inside she was smiling with disdain, after all, she knew that Zeref was not dead, after all, how could anyone kill an immortal?

"I reckon it's about time you left" - the man said as he motioned for her to leave.

"Ok, I still want you to keep me updated on the situation" - said the woman before leaving the man's office.

"That idiot" - muttered the woman as she let out a small laugh - "He doesn't even realize he's being manipulated, oh right, that doesn't happen anymore, now he does it of his own free will."

"Those are some interesting words, more so after hearing everything you guys were talking about" - said a male voice.

"Who's there!" - exclaimed the woman as she summoned a strange crystal sphere and looked around with hostility because she couldn't believe that someone had not only heard them, but was so close and couldn't detect it.

"I can answer that question for you, but in response, I would like you to tell me who Zeref is" - the male voice said coldly - "I'm curious to know who is the man who has such a beautiful woman waiting for him?"

The woman was not flattered by the compliment, in fact, it only made her expression freeze for a few seconds because it was obvious that the man could see her appearance even though she was using her magic to obscure her features - ". . ."

"How about we talk?" - asked the male voice as his silhouette appeared in front of the woman - "Maybe then I can do something about that aura of loneliness, despair and hatred you feel."

"What do you know about me!" - roared the woman as she ran at the stranger with her orb in hand and threw it with all her might - "Luminous Minutes!"

Before Kurama could say anything else, he saw the sphere start to glow and multiply into dozens of similar spheres.

"That wasn't polite" - said Kurama as he extended one of his hands and stopped the movement of all the spheres, surprising the woman.
