The Legend of the Kyubi

A week had passed since the incident where Tohru had destroyed a large part of a city, which was quickly repaired by Kurama because he felt responsible for the damage, after all, he was the one who asked the dragon to go help the group.     

Back to the point, Kurama was currently at the guild together with Tohru and Kanna after returning from his first mission outside of Magnolia, and he had to admit that it was fun to see new places.     

Kanna also enjoyed the trip, yes, he took the little girl along with him because she didn't want to be separated from him, something that honestly didn't bother the white haired man, though there was one person who wasn't happy, and that was none other than Tohru, who had to stay in the guild to pay for the damage she had caused.     

Kurama had forgiven what she had done, but that didn't mean there were no consequences for her actions.     

"How did it go?" - Mirajane asked as she poured some juice for the two of them, as she had heard that alcohol was ineffective on him.     

"Well, I managed to finish rebuilding the village, and Kanna kicked some thieves' asses" said Kurama proudly as the little girl continued to eat the food Kurama had prepared for her.     

"If it wasn't because I know Kanna-chan's true identity, I would have told you some things for endangering your daughter" - snorted Mirajane as she gave him a flirtatious look.     

"If I didn't know you, Mira-chan, I would think you were trying to flirt with a man with a daughter" - said Kana while drinking some of her beer - "Adopted, but with a daughter after all."     

"Shut up and drink your alcohol" - said Mirajane as she averted her gaze.     

"By the way, why is everything so quiet?" - Kurama asked while raising an eyebrow - "Right, I don't see coal brain and low-budget Striper."     

"Well, they went to save Erza from going to jail, or at least that's what they said before they ran off" - said Kanna as she shrugged - "Honestly, I think they went to accompany her, so she wouldn't feel so lonely."     

"Arrested? Why?" - Kurama asked as he frowned because it honestly didn't seem like the girl could commit a crime with the way she was.     

"It was because of the destruction we caused" - replied Tohru with embarrassment - "Which is strange because they loaded all the charges on one person when I was the one who caused the most damage."     

Kurama frowned when he heard this because he felt there was something fishy about this whole situation - "Maybe I need to look into things a little better before I come to a conclusion"     

"Are you going out, dad?" - Kanna asked as she took Kurama's hand.     

"Yes, but this time I have to go on my own" - said Kurama as he noticed the sadness in his daughter - "I promise I'll come back quickly and take you somewhere fun."     

"The pool?" - Kanna asked as she looked at the white-haired man with her big eyes.     

"Anywhere you want" - answered Kurama because there was something he couldn't defeat, and that was the innocent stare of a child.     

"Un!" - Kanna exclaimed with excitement.     

Tohru smiled seeing this interaction because Kanna was a shy girl who didn't show much emotion, but she was opening her heart too fast, even for a child.     

"Well, I'll be back in a moment" - Kurama said as he disappeared from the place.     

"Take me with you!" - Tohru exclaimed with tears in her eyes as she watched her romantic interest disappear.     

"If you keep acting that clingy, you'll end up boring him, men need some space too" - said Kana as she looked at her new friend.     

"Huh, I'm behaving badly?" - Tohru asked with surprise - "Strange, this is normal with us dragons, we have to show the other females that the male is being courted, so they don't get in the way of our movements."     

"And what if they get in the way?" - Mirajane asked curiously.     

"Duel to death" - Tohru replied as Kanna nodded.     

"Girl, we have a lot of things to talk about" - said Kana as she motioned for her to have a conversation.     

"Give me a moment I'm going to make some orders, and I'll accompany you, my break is about to start" - said Mirajane, who wanted to talk to the two girls.     

"What are you talking about?" - Lucy asked, who was accompanied by a pretty blue-haired girl.     

"Oh? It's you, Lucy, Levy, you came just in time to help us teach this girl some common sense" - said Kana while pointing at Tohru, who looked like she was about to die from embarrassment.     

"She's the dragon girl?" - Levy asked with surprise - "Could you tell me a little about yourself, and about your race?"     

"I have no problem, although that will take quite a while" - replied Tohru after some thought.     

"You can call me when you are available" - smiled Levy with emotion because the experiences of a living dragon, were much more informative than the content of a book that only had unfounded theories or possibilities.     

"I have time this afternoon after I finish my shift" - replied Tohru after some thought because something told her that Kurama wouldn't be back for quite a while - "I'm going to have to take Kanna with me though, so I ask you not to ask too many strange questions."     

"Sure" - nodded Levy happily - "Now then, what were you two talking about?"     

"Don't change Levy" - said Kana as she shook her head, seeing how her friend had lost the thread of the conversation after going into her investigator mode.     

"By the way, is Kurama-san a dragon too?" - Levy asked curiously as she looked at the two dragon girls.     

"No, daddy is not a dragon" - Kanna replied as she shook her head - "He's not human either though."     

"Not dragon, but not human either?" - Lucy repeated in surprise because he didn't look like he was of a strange race, although after seeing how handsome he was, she wouldn't be surprised if he was an Incubus, a male [Dream Demon].     

"I feel like you're thinking something perverted, girl" - Tohru said with a frown as she noticed the embarrassed expression of the seductive blonde girl.     

"I-I don't know what you're talking about" - replied Lucy with embarrassment.     

"Don't lie, I can smell the scent of your arousal" - growled Tohru with hostility.     

"Tohru, calm down" - said Kana with a frown, seeing the bout of unfounded jealousy the dragon girl was having.     

"Sorry, jealousy is a normal thing for members of my species because we are extremely possessive, especially with our partners or treasures" - replied Tohru while trying to calm down.     

"Pervert" - Kanna said, hurting the already embarrassed Lucy because there was no way to defend herself, after all, she had had an erotic fantasy thinking Kurama was an Incubus.     

"Leaving aside our friend's erotic dreams, I too am curious to know more about our new partner" - said Kana while raising an eyebrow and ignoring Lucy's indignant shout - "What race is he?"     

"He's a Kitsune" - Tohru answered honestly.     

"Kitsune, you mean fox spirits?" - Levy asked as he waved his hands and made a somewhat old book appear that had the image of a fox on it.     

"Yes, he is a Kyubi, or rather, a Jubi" - replied Tohru as she took the book and started reading it, only to open it and show it to the others.     

[Kyubi Kitsune: The most powerful form of the fox spirits. They possess enormous magical power, as well as multiple elemental abilities along with illusory magics. It is said that when they reach this age, the Kyubi Kitsune can take human form, and these are extremely beautiful, to the point that there are legends about how civilizations were annihilated because of the beauty of one of them. Kyubi Kitsune are extremely rare because only 0.1% of Kitsune can reach this level. They are SSS rank creatures, the same level as dragons, as they can absorb the elements they are adept at through their tails].     

"But here they say that they only exist until they reach the level of a Kyubi, there is no higher level" - said Levy with a frown.     

"It's because Kurama is the first and only Jubi that has ever existed in the world" - Tohru answered seriously - "Even in the worlds I have visited, I have never seen a fox with more tails than him, except in made-up stories or unfounded legends."     

"How strong is he?" - Lucy asked in surprise because this all sounded too crazy.     

"Much stronger than me" - Tohru answered seriously - "And I'm capable of destroying continents with ease, even Kanna can destroy Magnolia in a matter of seconds."     

Kanna looked up when she heard her name being called, but quickly went back to her food.     

"It's so normal to watch her eat, I can't believe she has that level of offensive power" - Kana said as she looked at the little girl with a name similar to hers.
