Extra 15: Dragon & Dragon Maids (24)

"What the fuck just happened here!" - exclaimed the newly awakened Natsu as he took a close look at the state of his guild, only to grit his teeth in fury.

Gray, Erza and Lucy, could only watch in terror as a huge number of metal pillars, were embedded in much of the guild, while other places were completely destroyed.

"I knew it, nothing is normal with you by our side" - Kurama said while holding the bridge of his nose.

Natsu frowned when he heard this as he gave the albino an annoyed look because he looked as if he was saying that he was to blame for all of this.

"Kurama-san," Erza said as she gave him a blank look.

"I'm sorry, but I had to say it, whenever he's involved in something, things end up like this" - said Kurama as he rolled his eyes at the beautiful red haired woman.

"I think we should leave the bullying of coal head for another time, now we have to see if everyone is okay" - Gray said seriously.

"You have a point" - nodded Kurama as the group entered the guild, only to see how everyone was there in silence.

Makarov was sitting near the serving bar with an expressionless face.

"Old man, what happened!" - Natsu exclaimed as he ran over to the guild master.

Makarov gave him an annoyed look before giving him a hard smack on the head.

"Why are you hitting me!" - Natsu exclaimed in annoyance as he rubbed his head.

"For taking such a dangerous mission when you weren't ready yet!" said Makarov neutrally, only to look carefully at the young men and let out a sigh of relief when he saw that they were in perfect condition.

"Never mind that, tell me what happened to our guild!" - Natsu exclaimed angrily - "Tell me who they were, so I can go beat the crap out of them!"

"Natsu" - Erza growled with a scowl.

"No, I'm not going to let this stand" - said Natsu as he ignored Erza's attempt to try to mediate things - "Gramps, tell me what happened."

"No, this is already over, there's no need to pursue all this" - said Makarov as he felt like a huge headache was about to start now that Natsu was back.

"What do you mean with "it's all over now"!" - Natsu exclaimed as he let out a breath of fire towards the ceiling - "This isn't over until we've kicked the ass of the one responsible for all this shit!"

"That's enough, it's all over!" - Makarov exclaimed angrily as he slammed the counter.

Natsu clicked his tongue before running out of the guild, ignoring the fact that he still didn't receive his punishment.

Makarov watched this as he let out a sigh of annoyance, only to start drinking again to get the bad taste away from his mouth.

"Master, what happened?" - Erza asked with a frown.

"[Phantom Lord], that's what happened" - said Mirajane now that Natsu was gone because she knew that if he knew of those responsible, there would be nothing they could do to stop him from going towards their rival guild - "They attacked during the night, luckily there was no one around, but..."

"This doesn't make me any happier than you, but we can't just attack them because that would get us in trouble" - said Makarov as he looked at his mug of beer - "Fights between guilds are forbidden, so if we make the first move, then the magic council will have more than enough reason to sanction us, and we can't let them do that."

"You have a point" - Ultear said while walking next to Meredy and Kanna - "A certain group of the council is looking for any excuse, so they can dissolve this guild, but thanks to Warrod-san and Yajima-san, they're having slight complications."

"I know, and we're not helping them with all the destruction we caused" - Makarov said loudly for all to hear.

The members of [Fairy Tail] were embarrassed when they heard this, as the old guild master, sighed regretfully.

"That aside, my decision stands firm, the guild is damaged, yes, but Kurama-san can repair it with utmost ease" - Makarov said as the albino nodded and with a snap of his fingers, complied with the old guild master's request - "Thank you, and as I was saying, I don't plan to do anything because none of the members were hurt."

"I understand, but we can't let things end like this, master" - Erza said with a frown - "If we don't do anything, [Phantom Lord] will attack the guild again, and we can't constantly rely on Kurama-san"

"I know, that's why I already sent a written complaint to the council, informing them about [Phantom Lord]'s attack, although if I'm honest, I don't think they'll answer us soon enough" - said Makarov sarcastically before drinking his beer in one gulp.

"Any solutions, Ultear-san?" - Gray asked, after all, his older sister was a former council member.

"I'm sorry, but it's not like I can do anything now that I resigned not in the best way" - said Ultear as she shook her head - "But what I can assure you, is that the council won't answer you for at least a month at the very least."

"That's too long" - Erza muttered with a frown - "Perhaps we should respond to [Phantom Lord]'s taunts"

"No, I won't allow it" - said Makarov seriously - "And I hope none of you will do anything behind my back, or you will be expelled from the guild."

Erza looked around and noticed how all the members were gritting their teeth before nodding.

"This is not good, master" - Erza said with a frown - "You're acting like a tyrant."

"I know, but I'm doing this for the safety of [Fairy Tail] in general" - Makarov replied seriously - "As guild master, I have to look out for my entire family first."

The members of [Fairy Tail] looked appreciatively at Makarov, not noticing how a small bubble was floating near the window.

Kurama looked in that direction with a frown, before giving a smile to Kanna, who was trying to gain his attention - "I'm sorry, what do you wish, my little one?"

"I want to go to the beach" - Kanna said as she tugged at the albino's clothes.

"Well, I think I can fulfill your wish" - said Kurama with a smile - "What do you say we go this weekend?"

"Sure!" - smiled Kanna as her father went back to thinking about what he had managed to detect.

"Despair, loneliness, and a huge desire to fit in" - thought Kurama as he thought carefully about the bubble - "I don't know who it is, but he or she needs urgent help."

"Well?" - Asked a man with long, spiky black hair.

"The plan turned out to be a failure, [Fairy Tail] doesn't plan to attack back, Gajeel-kun" - said a blue-haired girl who was using an umbrella. She was surrounded by a melancholy and lonely aura as she watched the rain fall.

"Tch, I knew those idiots were weak pacifists" - said Gajeel disdainfully as he looked at his companion - "Go back, Juvia, you don't need to stay here anymore, I'll take care of the rest."

Juvia gave her companion a glance before nodding weakly.

She slowly backed away as she continued to stare at the sky obscured by rain clouds, wondering if she might someday find a way to see the sun.

Gajeel gave his guildmate a glance before shaking his head and concentrating on the job at hand.

"Now, how could I get those idiots to come our way?" - Gajeel pondered for a few minutes, until a huge grin appeared on his lips - "I got it, if they are a huge family, then I just have to attack the small fish and the big ones will come like sharks for blood."

Gajeel let out a laugh before heading back towards his target.

"Strange, why is it raining when it was just sunny?" - Tohru asked with a frown as she looked up at the sky.

Her shift was over, and right now, she was returning home along with Kurama, Ultear, Meredy and Kanna.

"I don't know, but this doesn't seem natural for such a drastic change, so there must be two answers, someone used magic to change the weather, or two, it's an accidental magical manifestation" - Ultear replied while looking at the sky.

"Accidental magical manifestation?" - repeated Tohru confused - "Are you saying that someone unconsciously is causing the rain to fall?"

"Yes" - nodded Ultear as she pondered - "But if so, then I can only say that the one responsible has enormous magical power if his emotions are responsible for this."

Kurama looked up at the sky, only to sense the same presence he had managed to detect in the guild, so he quickly created a clone and sent it in that direction.

"What was that?" - Tohru asked while frowning.

"Let's just say I want to know who is responsible for this climate change" - said Kurama calmly while praying that his clone wouldn't do something stupid.
