Extra 19: Change the World (28)

"And I thought things couldn't get any stranger..." - Kagome said as she saw how on Shippo's nose, was a small creature that was talking to them.

"Sorry to intrude, but I would like to know if you have seen a silver-haired Hanyo?" said the little creature.

"A Yokai flea, now that's strange" - mused Yura while raising an eyebrow.

"Silver-haired Hanyo?" - Kagome repeated as she frowned - "You mean Inuyasha?"

"Yes, Inuyasha-sama!" - exclaimed the little creature as he jumped up and down with excitement because he had finally found a clue to his young master's whereabouts.

"Sama?" - Yura repeated with a frown because the dog boy didn't seem to be someone who deserved respect.

"Yes, he is the son of Inu no Taichou-sama" - replied the flea Myoga as he looked at the female Yokai.

"Wait, you say that this Inuyasha is the son of the dog lord!" - Shippo exclaimed in surprise because even though foxes were a different breed, they still showed respect to Inu no Taichou.

"Ok, I'm surprised, I didn't think someone like that fleabag would have that kind of family" - Yura mused as she shrugged her shoulders. Finding out who Inuyasha's father was, didn't change anything, after all, the dog boy was still the same annoying bastard.

"Anyway, could you tell me if he's around?" - Myoga asked as he looked around - "I can smell the scent of his blood around the area, but I don't have the sensory abilities to be able to discover his exact whereabouts."

"Inuyasha is nearby?" - Kagome repeated in surprise because she wasn't expecting this information.

"Why do you want to find him?" - Yura asked curiously as she ignored her companion's surprise.

Inuyasha was listening to the conversation from a safe distance, though he was also curious as to why the flea Myoga was looking for him.

"Before you answer, what are you of Inuyasha-sama?" - Myoga asked with a frown.

"Well, she's the one who freed him from the tree seal" - Yura replied boredly.

"Oh, then I thank you for saving my young master" - smiled Myoga as he gave a small bow - "Though that's not enough to reveal my intentions."

Yura nodded when she saw this, such it seemed that the little creature was more loyal than they thought.

"Myoga, you can speak with full confidence" - Inuyasha said as he walked from the trees.

"Young master!" - Myoga exclaimed as he jumped on Inuyasha and began to suck some of his blood, only for Inuyasha to crush it with a scowl on his face.

"Seriously... That's the first thing you do after you've been looking for me?" - Inuyasha asked as he gave him a blank look.

"I'm sorry," Myoga replied as he jumped on the hanyo's shoulder.

"I don't care about your apology, I want to know the reason why you've been looking for me" - Inuyasha said with annoyance.

"Right, Inuyasha-sama, you have to be careful, your brother is looking for you for an unknown reason" - answered Myoga seriously.

"My brother?" - Inuyasha repeated with a frown - "What does Sesshomaru want with me?"

"I'm not sure, but according to rumors, he wants to find you to get to your father's tomb" - answered Myoga seriously - "The problem is that inside the tomb there is only the inheritance that Inu no Taichou-sama left to you, young master."

"My inheritance?" - Inuyasha repeated skeptically - "That's the first time I've heard that."

"It's because we decided that you would only know when you were old enough" - answered Myoga honestly.

"I understand, though it's a bit annoying" - Inuyasha said as he frowned.

Myoga was surprised because he knew how easy his young master was to annoy, so for him not to explode right away when he broke the news to him was a sign that he had matured a bit since their last meeting.

"That aside, that still doesn't explain why Sesshomaru is after me" - Inuyasha said with a frown.

"It's because you have the key to let you in" - Myoga replied seriously, but his expression changed when he heard the sound of approaching footsteps - "Oh no!"

The group watched in silence as they watched a huge monster walk in their direction.

"Is he your brother?" - Kagome asked fearfully.

"Really?" - Inuyasha asked as he gave her a blank look - "That Yokai is clearly a giant Oni..."

"I-I'm sorry" - muttered Kagome with slight embarrassment.

Inuyasha was about to say something else when he saw how the giant seemed to be dragging something.

"He's already here" - muttered Myoga seriously.

"It's been hard to find you, brother" - said a male voice.

Kagome quickly looked in the direction of the voice, only to find a handsome white-haired man wearing some sort of white kimono over which he had a small black suit of armor.

"Sesshomaru..." - Inuyasha growled as he narrowed his eyes - "What do you want..."

"Is this how you treat your brother?" - Sesshomaru asked in a cold and emotionless voice - "And I had taken the trouble, so I could bring you a gift."

The huge ogre quickly put what he was dragging in front of him, a small carriage.

Inuyasha frowned, but his expression quickly changed to one of surprise and terror when he saw the person inside the carriage - "Mother?"

"Mother?" - Yura and Kagome repeated as she looked at the beautiful black-haired woman.

"Impossible, she died" - Inuyasha growled as he remembered his mother's last moments and how he buried her, so she could rest eternally.

"Don't be delusional, Inuyasha, in our world it is easy to find a soul and bring it back to life, especially a simple and weak human" - replied Sesshomaru as he snapped his fingers.

The giant Oni quickly began to squeeze the carriage, destroying it with utmost ease and leaving the black-haired woman completely exposed.

"Ah!" - Inuyasha's mother let out a sharp cry of terror as she watched the giant Oni squeeze her lightly.

"What the fuck are you doing, Sesshomaru!" - Inuyasha roared as he glared hatefully at his older brother. It was quite possible that this woman wasn't his mother, but it wasn't like he could risk it.

"It's simple, you have something I want" - Sesshomaru replied as he ignored everyone present except for his younger brother, though if he was honest, he would have preferred to kill him, so he could remove this horrible stain on his family's record.

"If you mean the key to our father's tomb, I don't have it," Inuyasha replied as the flea Myoga jumped over his shoulder, "I haven't been given anything, I haven't even had contact with our father's former subordinates."

Sesshomaru frowned as he was also aware of this, but Jaken's divination spell announced to him that the key was in his brother's possession, and as much as he didn't want to admit it, he had to admit that his subordinate was competent despite how annoying his constant flattery was.

"You say you don't have the key?" - Sesshomaru asked boredly - "How sure are you? Can you assure me and put your filthy human mother in danger?"

Inuyasha gritted his teeth as he struggled with the thought of attacking.

"Ah!" - the black-haired woman let out a sharp cry of pain as the giant Oni slightly increased the power of its grip.

"How do you want me to confirm it!" - Inuyasha roared as he bit his lip.

"It's simple, I want my servant to use his spell on you to make you tell me the truth" - replied Sesshomaru calmly.

"Fine, but when I answer that I don't have it, I want you to release my mother and leave" - Inuyasha growled with hostility.

"Very well, after all, it's not like I want to keep wasting my time with a disgrace like you" - Sesshomaru replied neutrally.

"How can you talk to your younger brother like that" - Kagome said angrily.

Sesshomaru gave her a glance for the first time before ignoring the woman, though his gaze shifted slightly to Yura and noticed how she seemed to be concentrating a huge amount of Youki inside her - "Interesting, who are you?"

"My name is Yura, and I am a servant of Kurama-sama" - Yura answered seriously because despite having increased in power, she was aware that she still couldn't fight directly against the Daiyokai in front of her.

"Kurama?" - Sesshomaru repeated with a frown because this woman was strong, that meant her master should be even stronger, but he didn't know any Daiyokai named Kurama - "What species is your master?"

"He's a Kitsune Daiyokai" - Yura answered honestly because then maybe this man wouldn't attack them.

"Kitsune Daiyokai?" - Sesshomaru repeated as he looked at his subordinate - "Jaken, has any Kitsune managed to become a Kyubi after the death of the last fox lord?"

"No, my lord" - answered a green colored goblin. He was of short stature who was wearing a brown robe and in his hands he held a hideous staff which at the top had the heads of an old man and a woman - "Although it is possible that he appeared while we were searching for the grave of your father."
