C12 Chapter 12 - Gay? Gay.

*Pryce’s Point of View*

---

“Yeah, goodnight and sweet dreams, Babe,” she said and stepped out of my car. This girl’s stubborness is truly out of this world.

“You too! And please, stop calling me babe,” I told her for the thousandth time while chuckling, but the last part of it is still a lie. I'd want her to call me that.

“Aye, Madam!” She uttered, and I drove away as I shook my head lightly and smiled to myself.

Damn, this is the best night of my life ever!

--

I slumped on my bed while smiling like an idiot. And then, I suddenly yelled, “Blair Kendall, you will be mine!” And I smiled at the thought of it.

Well, it's okay for me to shout anytime at my house because I'm the only one living here. I easily get scared but living alone is fine with me. And sometimes I would call some of Dad's house servants to clean up the garden or change the water of the pool, and many other things.

My house is huge, like it could accommodate ten people to live here. It's like a mansion, but this is smaller than our house where my father lives now.

This house is far from a populated area in the city because I owned eight hectares of land here. And I built my house at the center of my property so that it will be far from the highway and will have my private road. I let a fence mark my property and to avoid any trespassers and wild animals getting in. The gate is quite hard to open because it only recognizes my cars' code numbers and my voice. And I can let it open from inside the house if there's a visitor.

But, there is one person that can enter my property just like me. She has been my dearest best friend since we're babies. She's two months older than me. And our mothers have been best friends since middle school. And that made Cassandra Cavanaugh Williams my best friend since diapers.

Cassie has blonde hair and blue eyes, and I'm taller than her by about three inches. We were so close back in our primary days, and when we graduated, they moved to Ontario, Canada. But once in a while, she visits me, or I visit her. And it has been almost a year since we spent time together. But we always call each other, especially if there is big news about our lives. Just like when she called me last week and told me that she already has her first boyfriend, and that made me tell her about Blair on our pretty savage encounter at my bookstore.

I have told her that I will take revenge and will make the freak's life a living hell if ever I will see her again. Then she teased me about having a crush on Blair when I did not stop ranting about her until midnight, but I didn't take that too seriously. I just told her that she was crazy by saying such things to me. But I guess she was right.

She hasn't called me since then, so I will call her on video and tell her about what happened tonight at the park with Blair and me.

After just a few rings, she answered, and her whole face appeared on my phone screen. Oh, why does this mobile device have a small screen and such ample space for its keypad?

“Hey, finally you called, Prycie!!! I started to think that you already forgot about me!” She cheerfully greeted me as she made herself comfy on her swivel chair at her study table.

“Hey, why would I forget about you?” I asked her while I sat on the couch near my bed.

“Well, maybe you've found the one that you've been looking for—your soulmate.” She replied while making a dreamy expression on her face.

“Haha! Very funny, Cassie. And why would I look for the one if she's the one who found me.” I confessed, and she paused to look at me straight in the eyes with her blinking eyes.

“Wait, what are you talking about? SHE found you?” She asked me with an arched eyebrow.

“Well, yeah, it’s a ‘she’,” I answered proudly, and her smile started to grow wider.

“So, you accepted that you are looking for a 'she' and not for a 'he'?” She rejoiced while wearing a shocked face.

“Yeah, I'm gay. Woohoo!” I confessed and yelled, and I never thought that Blair would be the reason for me to finally accept my sexuality.

“Wow, I'm very proud of you, Prycie! I have a lesbian bestie! Damn! So, who's the lucky girl?” She chimed, and I know that she is truly happy for me.

The last time we talked about my sexual orientation was two years ago. She asked me if I already have a crush, and I told her no one in particular. Then she pointed to some hot and handsome celebrities. And she asked me who is the most handsome, and I answered they are all the same. Then she asked me if I liked any of them, and I answered no one. And we never bring out the topic of me being gay until now.

“Well, do you remember the girl that I encountered at my bookstore?” I asked her while grinning at the thought of my dream girl.

“Yeah, the freak?” She answered as if she knew the girl.

“Exactly,” I confirmed with a big, proud smile.

“So, what's with the freak?” She cluelessly asked and then halted as she realized something.

“Oh My Gosh, Prycie! You don't mean she's the one?” She asked in disbelief, and I’m just beaming.

“Kyaaaaaah! I told you! I told you! I told you! I'm freaking right the whole f*cking time! Kyaaaah!” She's screaming and shaking her phone, or she is jumping on her chair. What a wild reaction!

“Hey, hey, calm down, Cassie! You might wake my neighbors.” I told her while laughing my ass out.

“Silly, how will I wake your neighbors when you don't have one? Like, kyaaaaaah! I'm extremely happy for you, Prycie! Finally, Pryce K. Winsley got her first love. I started to think that you were abnormal, though.” She said ecstatically while still screaming like a total mad girl.

“Yeah, and talking about her, we just had our first date tonight. Well, it's not a planned date, but I'd call it a date. It's so extraordinary that I cannot stop thinking about it. I could still feel the sparks and the butterflies, you know... Yeah, it's so damn amazing.” I said like a little kid that had just received her most desired gift.

“Well, I guess you did find your soulmate, your destiny, your only one, and I'm extremely happy for you, Prycie. So, tell me the whole f*cking story because the last time I remember, you were loathing each other,” she uttered excitedly, and she composed herself.

The night went gaily, and I told her everything that had happened between Blair and me, from the bookstore, my dreams about her, today's happening at school, and tonight's date of ours'.

Then I head to sleep because it's already about one in the morning. And I still need to go to school, and I'm going to see my Blair. Yep, possessive much, even though she is not mine yet. But she will be mine very soon. I just hope that she likes me too.

Finally, I've dreamed of her again—my favorite dream.
