C118 Murong Youruo

C118 Murong Youruo

Just as dawn was nigh, Du Shaofu circulated his rune energy throughout the woman by placing his fingers on her body. Retracting his hand after the process, the rune light immediately dissipated.

"Huuu!"

Du Shaofu heaved a sigh of relief as his face bleached pale, for the consumption of energy was certainly not little.

Treating the old injuries around the woman's navel was much more difficult than Du Shaofu had imagined. Within those particular injuries were handfuls of cold Yin Qi that stuck to her body, unable to be dispersed.

No matter how much he tried to remove the Yin Qi, he simply could not get them to dissipate. In the face of such Qi, the Profound Qi within her body seemed to slowly be corroding under its insidious effects.

Originally, Du Shaofu was a little curious about her injuries too. Why was it that, after three years, the woman's injuries had not completely healed? Looking at those injuries with one's naked eye, they did not seem serious at all either. Such injuries could usually be easily cured by Three-Star Spirit Talisman Masters who were proficient in refining medicine. Moreover, one could very well recover from it with time.

But at this time, Du Shaofu finally understood the reason why the injuries persisted for such a long time. That particular cold Yin Qi was not something that any ordinary Spirit Talisman Cultivators could solve, let alone the person inflicted with such injuries.

However, Du Shaofu was currently cultivating a technique belonging to the race of the Golden Winged Roc. This particular technique focused heavily on the control of one's Yang Qi, the innate nemesis of Yin Qi. This fortunate coincidence just so happened to allow Du Shaofu to treat all of the old injuries in the woman's body.

"A job well done."

Looking at the seemingly unconscious woman, Du Shaofu reckoned that she would be waking up soon, unless his antidote was useless. With a smile on his face, he finally walked out of the room.

*Creak...*

Just as he was about to shut the door behind him, the unconscious women on the bed suddenly opened her eyes. Her long eyelashes fluttered as her eyes, appearing like the limpid autumn waters, could easily captivate one's heart and soul.

"Just who was that person, for he could actually treat my old injuries? However, he's a rather honest individual. To think he didn't make any moves on me. Could it be that my charm is lacking? He even seemed to be a young man..."

The woman muttered as her pale cheeks flushed slightly scarlet.

In fact, she had actually been awake for the past hour. When she initially woke up, the first thing she felt was a man's hand moving across her delicate body. Absolutely frightened, she thought that she had fallen into the hands of those demonic bastards.

However, feeling Yang Qi circulating throughout her body, she could tell that he was treating her injuries. The man's pair of hands moved gently around her body, devoid of any perverted thoughts or any intentions to approach the sensitive spots on her body.

Even so, she was still a woman after all. Although many men around the city had attempted to made their moves on her, there nevertheless had not been a single one who managed to even get close to her. But when she thought back to the warmth that shifted wherever the man's hands passed, especially when they were threading about her lower abdomen, she could not help but have a strange feeling in her heart.

"Brother Shaofu, how's my aunt?" Dai Xingyu asked with clear eyes filled with anticipation upon seeing Du Shaofu come out of the room.

"There shouldn't be any other problems. She'll wake up in at most two hours. Anyways, I'm gonna go mediate now," Du Shaofu replied.

"Alright, I'll take Brother Shaofu over to his room."

Dai Xingyu burst in joy with a bright smile. Upon hearing how her aunt was going to be alright, her heart that was filled with worry was finally relieved.

"No need, I know the way there. You should also get some rest," Du Shaofu said, no longer considering himself to be a guest here.

*Howl!*

Finally seeing the opportunity to struggle free from Dai Xingyu's embrace, the King Scaled Demon Tiger immediately leaped over to Du Shaofu's side and followed him away, not wanting to be ravaged by that Dai Xingyu girl anymore.

"Alright, thank you Brother Shaofu."

Dai Xingyu said with a bright smile. Just as she was about to go in to see her aunt, she suddenly seemed to be afraid of disturbing her recovery. Thus, she ended up skipping back to her room.

The curtain of the night covered the sky and enveloped the incomparably vast Lanling City as the stars in the night star flickered brightly.

"Young Master Guo, we've found where brat is staying at."

In a certain luxurious courtyard, a young man with a red palm mark on his face spoke respectfully to a particular youth lying in the arms of a young woman. "I've sent quite a bit of my father's men to search around the city. They've finally found the lodging of the brat."

For a moment, the youth's face turned slightly pale. Originally leaning against the bosom of the charming woman with his eyes closed as he enjoyed the massage, he immediately opened his eyes and asked with a chilling aura, "Have you found out the background of that brat?"

"Not yet. However, looking at that old house, I reckon he's probably still with that young lady from earlier," the young man replied immediately.

"Hmmph, no matter who it is, if I don't settle this debt with him, then I, Guo Kun, won't have the face to show myself within Lanling City in the future."

Just as Guo Kun's face darkened, a wave of chilliness burst forth, scaring the charming woman behind him. Her eyes revealed a hint of fear, seemingly as if she was afraid of offending her master whom she could absolutely not afford to offend.

The youth with the red palm imprint on his face hesitated from a moment before mustering up his courage. "Young Master Guo, that brat appears to be quite formidable, so why don't you ask my dad for help?"

"You piece of trash! Hmmph!"

Glaring at the young man, Guo Kun snorted coldly and said, "Do you think we meet to stir up a commotion just because of a mere brat like him? Do you want everyone in Lanling Prefecture to look down on us? You actually want to ask for help from your father?"

"Young Master Guo is right, I was wrong," the young man felt slightly embarrassed, afraid that he would be slapped in the face again.

"If we can't even find a way to deal with that brat by ourselves, then it can only mean that we are trash."

Sitting upright, Guo Kun's eyes revealed a trace of cold arrogance as he said in a deep voice, "I'll go find He Jun and tell him to take action. I reckon that should be enough."

"That's right, we should ask Young Master He for help. He'll definitely be able to take care of that brat," the young man's face instantly surged with joy.

"Huuu!"

Just as the light of dawn gradually peaked over the horizon, illuminating up the earth overflowing with various kinds of vivid colors, Du Shaofu finally stopped cultivating in his room. After meditating through the night and heaving a long breath of air, he had recovered quite a bit of his exhausted Qi.

Du Shaofu stretched himself as he walked out of the room. In the early morning, he took a deep breath of fresh air in the courtyard and felt extremely energized once again.

*Roar!*

Just as a low and deep roar resounded through the air, the King Scaled Demon Tiger arrived beside Du Shaofu. It eyes seemed to be on high alert, as if trying to tell Du Shaofu something.

Du Shaofu's expression immediately darkened as she muttered, "Are you talking about those spoiled brats from yesterday?"

*Bang! Bang!*

Early in the morning, the door to the house was suddenly kicked open. Despite being considered quite sturdy, the doors were instantly knocked out of its frame and crashed onto the ground. Soon affter, over a hundred people walked in aggressively.

"Guo Kun, why did you bring me here?"

A certain burly young man walked out from the crowd — standing next to him was Guo Kun.

At that moment, Guo Kun walked in front of the burly young man and lowered his head. Glancing around the surroundings of the old house, he said, "I brought you to teach a certain brat a lesson. He's quite strong, so I was wondering if you were a match for him."

"Could it be that even you lost to him?" The burly teenager looked at Guo Kun as the muscles of his chest bulged slightly.

"Who are you? Why did you barge into my house?"

At that moment, Dai Xingyu dashed out in a hurry from within the house. When her eyes landed straight on Guo Kun who was standing in the front of the crowd, the color on her beautiful immediately bleached out as she said, "It's you, that bad guy."

"Little girl, we meet again," Guo Kun said as he swept his gaze around the place. "Where's that brat from yesterday?"

"I don't know where Brother Shaofu went. He's already gone."

Despite being quite flustered, Dai Xingyu was not stupid either. These aggressive people had definitely come to find and get revenge on Brother Shaofu. With so many of them present, it would definitely be impossible for him to win against the. Thus, she definitely could not let them discover his whereabouts, so much so that she hoped that he had already left.

"Little girl, you're even terrible at lying."

Looking at Dai Xingyu's flustered appearance. Guo Kun could tell that she was lying and said with a gloomy expression, "We'll find that brat first before slowly playing with you."

"I didn't expect Young Master Guo and Young Master He to come and visit. What a coincidence."

A clear and melodious voice suddenly rang out like a silver bell just as a woman, seemingly in her early twenties, walked out from the inner courtyard. Sauntering over with nimble steps, her delicate body flowed like the leaves of willow trees, light and gentle.

In this world, there were plenty of woman who possessed a beautiful apperance but lacking in their temperament. The said could be said the other way around. However, this particular woman was simply built different. It would not be an exaggeration to say that she was perfect.

Not only was this woman extremely beautiful, but she also had a very refined temperament. Her long, jet-black hair drooping down to her waist reflected the light within one's eyes as her appearance seemed like a fairy who had just walked out from a masterpiece of a painting.

Turning their gazes towards the young woman, everyone stared blankly at her, dumbstruck.

Both Guo Kun and He Jun was also greatly taken aback as they recognized this woman. It's just that they never expected her to appear in such a place.

"Aunt, the're all bad people as they even bullied me yesterday. If it wasn't for Brother Shaofu, I wouldn't have been able to come back yesterday."

Upon seeing the woman, Dai Xingyu immediately cowered behind her. Seeming to have though of something a moment later, she said in a pleasant surprise, "Aunty, are you alright now? If so, that's great! You nearly scared me to death since I didn't know what to do. Thank goodness I came across Brother Shaofu."

"Alright, you won't have to worry anymore with me here."

The woman gently patted Dai Xingyu on her head and looked towards Guo Kun and others behind him. How could she not be aware just who exactly they were?

"Miss Youruo, why are you here? That little girl is your...!"

Guo Kun was greatly astonished as his gaze landed on the woman, for he heard how that little girl was addressing Murong Youruo as her aunt.

"This was an old house that I purchased a long time ago, and Xingyu is my sister's daughter. Since the age difference between me and my sister is quite large, Xingyu and I are actually quite similar in age."

Murong Youruo stared at Guo Kun, He Jun, and the others with clear water eyes and said, "Seeing Young Master Guo and Young Master He barging into the courtyard in such an aggressive manner, could someone have perhaps offended you two young masters?"
