Doomsday Fortress

Wang Yi shouted and led his team to face the incoming zombies.    

"Swish!"    

Wang Yi sent a zombie flying towards him. At the same time, he kicked away the zombie that was trying to attack him.

Under the siege of the zombies, the team slowly approached the truck. Although these zombies were sudden, Wang Yi and the others had been through hundreds of battles, so when they fought the zombies, they looked a bit panicked, but they also panicked. Other than Lee Hongming, who was right behind Wang Yi, who didn't participate in the battle, the rest of the zombies started to fight the zombies with machetes and rifles, occasionally changing positions to keep the zombies away from the crowd.

It was as if something fell from the top of the warehouse. Amid the scattered gunshots, it was exceptionally obvious. It also made Wang Yi nervous. That thing was coming out!

Fortunately, the surrounding zombies had slowed down. No one was injured because of the pause, but it still caused them a splitting headache. Even the speed at which Lee Hu and Zhang Fei brandished their sabers was not as fast as it was before.    

Wang Yi wasn't affected by the sound, but he paused for a moment.

Everyone suddenly felt the light shining from Wang Yi darken, but no one dared to look up. After all, there were still zombies around. Although there weren't many left, it was still not enough for everyone to be distracted.    

Only Lee Hongming, who had been in the middle of the team and did not participate in the battle, could see a huge shadow on the ground which looked like a butterfly flapping its wings.    

Lee Hongming couldn't help but to look over in confusion.    

"Weird, monster!"    

He saw something that was bigger than a person, waving two giant wings as it swooped down towards Lee Hongming. Its two claws were even longer than a zombie's, and it was about to grab onto Lee Hongming's shoulders!

Just as Wang Yi raised his head, he saw the monster flying straight towards Lee Hongming. Without thinking, he immediately fired two shots at the monster's head!    

The monster acted as if it had made an appointment with Wang Yi and dodged two shots from Wang Yi. However, it wasn't scared away but continued to grab Lee Hongming's shoulder.

At this moment, Lee Hongming was completely scared. He stared blankly at the monster grabbing onto his shoulder and didn't even have the strength to dodge. He just screamed subconsciously.

Lee Hongming screamed. He could only feel pain in his leg. He could no longer bear the weight of his body and fell to the ground.

The monster's claws were about to grab Lee Hongming, so it thought that it was certain. Who knew that Lee Hongming would suddenly fall to the ground, so the monster could only flap its wings and disappear from the warehouse's roof.

Wang Yi looked at Lee Hongming, who was still clutching his leg and rolling on the ground, and said. Wang Yi knew in his heart where his shot went.

Lee Hongming heard Wang Yi's words and understood why Wang Yi shot at him just now. He could not help but feel grateful towards Wang Yi in his heart. Just as he was about to open his mouth to thank Wang Yi, he was interrupted by two gunshots!
