The Ex-wife is Back: Please Let Me Go

Pei Nanjue was sitting in his office with his head lowered, reading documents. Suddenly, the door of his office rang.    

"Come in." A cold voice came from his mouth. Pei Nanjue did not even raise his eyebrows.    

The secretary pushed the door open and entered. She spoke respectfully in front of Pei Nanjue's desk. "Director Pei, you have a dinner party to attend at seven tonight. You have an appointment with the president of Ling Long Design Company."    

The secretary told him about Pei Nanjue's schedule for the day.    

"Yes," the secretary said. "Yes," the secretary said.    

The secretary handed the documents to Pei Nanjue's desk and left.    

Recently, Pei Nanjue had taken up a project and collaborated with Ling Long Design Company. However, the plans they designed were always rejected and could not be signed for a long time. Therefore, he had to talk to himself personally.    

At 7 PM, Pei Nanjue got down from his seat and walked straight to the agreed location with a cold and handsome face.    

"Mr Pei, please." The waiter led Pei Nanjue into the private room and closed the door behind him.    

"Mr. Ke, nice to meet you." Pei Nanjue walked over and smiled at the people in the private room.    

"Mr Pei." The president of Ling Long Design Company, Ke Bojin, said to Pei Nanjue with a smile on his face. He looked at Pei Nanjue with admiration.    

He was young and promising, and he had managed the Pei's business well. How many people could not admire him?    

"Mr. Ke, let's have a drink first." Pei Nanjue reached out and picked up the wine glass on the table. Then, he raised the wine glass to Ke Bojin.    

Ke Bojin picked up the glass on the table and drank.

They had submitted their design drafts, but they had rejected them one by one. That was why he had come out to talk to him personally.    

Ke Bojin laughed when he heard that. He looked at Pei Nanjue and smiled.    

"Mr Pei, to be honest, I am not satisfied with your company's design plan. Your company had a designer named Chu. We were very satisfied with the product she designed before. Unless you can get her to design our project, we will have to work together again next time." What Ke Bojin said made Pei Nanjue's heart sink.    

Chu Jiaxuan? Was her plan that good?    

"Okay." Pei Nanjue thought to himself, but he smiled and raised the glass in his hand.    

If he wanted her to design it, wouldn't it be better to hire her back with a high salary? As long as he had money, what could he not do? Pei Zi Yun thought coldly in his heart.    

But he did not know that Chu Jiaxuan was no longer abroad. Did he think he could hire her with money?    

After the meal, when Pei Nanjue returned home, Chu Yiyi came over to greet him. When she smelled the alcohol on Pei Nanjue's body, she could not help but frown.    

"Nanjue, why are you drinking so much wine?" Chu Yiyi reached out to help Pei Nanjue up the stairs.    

Pei Nanjue was carried upstairs by Chu Yiyi and had a headache. Thinking about what Ke Bojin said to him tonight, Chu Jiaxuan's stubborn eyes would enter his brain.    

Being supported by Chu Yiyi to sleep, his eyes closed.    

Chu Yiyi stood by the bed and looked at Pei Nanjue who was sleeping. She turned around and walked into the bathroom. She twisted a hot towel and helped him wipe the sweat on his face.
